Al-Mujadila
(58/1) Allah indeed had heard the word of her who disputed with you about her husband and made her complaint to Allah. And Allah hears your conversing with each other. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. (58/2) Those amongst you who turn their backs to their wives that they are not their mothers. Their mothers are only those who gave them birth. And most surely they utter a denying (hideous) and sinful word. Most surely Allah is Most-Merciful, Oft- Forgiving. (58/3) They turn their backs to their wives then retract from what they said. In such case he should free a slave before they touch each other. This is what you are advised and Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (58/4) Then whoever cannot find (a slave or concubine to set free), let him fast two consecutive months before touching (his wives). But whoever is not able (to fast), let him feed sixty needy (those who cannot work, elderly). This is because you have faith in Allah and His Messenger, and this is Allah’s limit, and there is a painful torment for the disbelievers. (58/5) Surely those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Their limits) are abased as those before them were abased. And We had sent down clear Verses (proofs) and for the disbelievers is an abasing torment. (58/6) On that Day Allah will raise them all up (resurrect them). Then will inform them of what they did. Allah has counted of (recorded) what they have forgotten. Allah is a Witness over all things. (58/7) Have you not seen that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and in the earth? There is no secret talk between the three but He (Allah) is the fourth of them, and nor (a talk) of five but He (Allah) is the sixth of them. And less than this or more than this wheresoever they may be but He (Allah) is with them. Later on the Day of Resurrection He will inform them of what they did. Surely Allah is All-Knowing of all things. (58/8) Have you not seen those who were forbidden of secret talk? Then they return to what they are forbidden. They talk amongst each other on the topics of sin, enmity and rebellion to the Messenger. And when they came to you, they greeted you with a greeting with which Allah does not greet you. And they say amongst themselves: “If that’s the case (if he is a true prophet) should Allah not torment us for what we say”? Hell is sufficient for them. They will prop themselves against it (they will be thrown in it). How evil indeed is that destination. (58/9) O you who believe (those who believe in Allah, have faith in Him)! When you talk secretly amongst each other, do not talk on the topics of sin, enmity and rebellion to the Messenger in secrecy. Talk about Al-Birr and Taqwâ (piety). And become the owners of piety towards Allah, to Whom you shall be gathered (in His Presence). (58/10) Secret counsels (whispering conspiracies) are from Satan which is to cause those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) to grieve. And it cannot harm them in the least except with Allah’s Permission. Therefore the believers should put their trust in Allah. (58/11) O you who believe (who are âmenû)! When it is said to you in assemblies: “Make room (for others to sit)”, then make room. Allah will also give you (ample) room. And when it is said: “Rise up!”, then rise up immediately. Allah increases the degrees of those of you who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death), and given knowledge. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (58/12) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! When you consult the Messenger in private, then give alms before your private consultation. This is better for you and purer. But if you cannot find (alms to give), then surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (58/13) Did you fear of giving alms before your private consultation? Then when you cannot do it Allah accepted your repentance. Therefore keep up the prayer, give alms (Az-Zakât), obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (58/14) Have you not seen those who have turned (befriended) to people (the Jews) who have incurred the Wrath of Allah? They are neither of you nor of them (of the Jews). They knowingly swear to a lie. (58/15) Allah has prepared for them (the disbelievers) a severe torment. Surely what they have done is terrible. (58/16) They have taken their oaths a shield. Thus they hindered (others) from the Way of Allah. So there is an abasing (humiliating) torment for them. (58/17) Neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them against a thing (torment) from Allah. They are the inmates of the Fire, therein they shall abide forever. (58/18) On that Day Allah will raise (resurrect) them up all. Then they will swear to Him as they used to swear to you. And they assume that they are upon something. Are they not surely the liars? (58/19) Satan has surrounded them, so he has made them forget Dhikr (the remembrance) of Allah. They are the party of Satan. Satan’s party, are they not surely the ones who are in Loss? (58/20) Surely those who exceed the limit against Allah and His Messenger, they are in abasement. (58/21) Allah has written: “I and My Messengers will most certainly be victorious”. Surely Allah is All-Strong, All- Mighty. (58/22) You cannot find a people who believe in Allah and the Latter Day (reaching Allah before death) loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even though they are their fathers, their sons, their siblings or their tribesman. These are they into whose hearts He (Allah) has written Faith and strengthened them with a Spirit from Himself (the spirit of the Imam of the Time who is educated in His Presence settles over their heads). And He will include them into heavens under which the rivers flow. They are the ones who will abide therein forever. Allah is Well-Pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him (Allah). They are the Party Allah. The Party of Allah are not those surely who have attained Salvation?

Al-Hashr
(59/1) Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth glorified (still glorifies) Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (59/2) He it is Who caused those who disbelieved of the People of the Book to go forth from their lands to exile. You did not think that they would go forth (from their lands). And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from (what would come from) Allah. Yet Allah came to them from a side they did not expect, and cast terror into their hearts. They demolish (were demolishing) their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Therefore take a lesson, O you the owners of insight! (59/3) And had it not been that Allah had written for (all of) them the exile, He would certainly have tormented them in this world, and there is also torment of the Fire for them in the Hereafter. (59/4) This is because they oppose Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah, then surely Allah is the One Who is Severe in punishment. (59/5) What you cut down of the palm-trees or you left them standing upon their roots is also only by Allah’s Leave, and this is for the abasement of Fâsiqûn (the transgressors). (59/6) And you made no expedition with either cavalry or camels (you did not fight) for which Allah gave as booty without any battle to His Messenger from those (from their property). But Allah assigns His Messengers against whom He wills, and Allah has Power over all things. (59/7) What Allah gave as booty without any battle to His Messenger from the people of that town is now for Allah, His Prophet, his kindred, the orphans, the needy and the wayfarer. (This is) so that it shall not be a commodity (wealth) going from one hand to another amongst the rich of you. And whatever the Messenger gave you, then take it. And from whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. Be the owner of piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is the One Who is Severe in torment. (59/8) (The booty obtained without any battle) is for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their lands and deserted from their property. They seek the Virtue and Pleasure of Allah and assist Allah and His Messenger. These it is that are the loyal. (59/9) And those who dwelled in the land (in Al-Madîna) before them and in the hearts of whom the Faith has settled love those who have emigrated to them. And they have no wish (grief, malice) in their hearts due to what they are given (their share of booty), even if they are in need of them. And they prefer (put) them over their souls. And whoever protects his soul from stinginess, then these it is that have attained Salvation. (59/10) And those who come after them say: “Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have passed (migrated) before us with Faith. And do not leave in our hearts any grudge towards those who believe (who are âmenû). Our Lord, you are indeed full of Kindness, the Most Merciful”. (59/11) Do you not see those who are disbelievers? They say to their brethren among the People of the Book who disbelieve: “If you are driven forth (from your land), we shall certainly go forth with you. We never obey any one amongst you who is against you. And if they fight you, we shall certainly help you”. And Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars. (59/12) If they are truly driven forth (from their land), they do not go forth with them. And if they get into fight, they do not help them. And even if they truly help them, they certainly turn their backs (run away from the fight). Then they shall not be helped. (59/13) You are certainly more severe in their hearts in regards to fear (they fear you more than Allah). This is because they are a people who cannot comprehend (the Greatness and Power of Allah). (59/14) They cannot fight against you as a group, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls (fortresses). Their fighting between them is severe. You think that they are one body, yet their hearts are scattered. This is because they are a people who are not mindful. (59/15) (Their state is) like those before them shortly who tasted the evil result of their affairs, and for them there is a painful torment. (59/16) (The promises of the disbelievers to you is) like the state (promises) of Satan. He had said to human: “Deny (become a disbeliever)”. But when he disbelieved, he said: “I am surely distant to you, surely I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds”. (59/17) Therefore the end of both (disbelievers and Satan) became staying in the Fire forever. And this is the punishment of the wrong-doers. (59/18) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death), become the owners of piety towards Allah! And let every soul consider what it has offered for tomorrow! And become the owners of piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (59/19) And be not like those who forgot Allah! So (Allah) made them forget their own souls. These it is that are Fâsiqûn (the transgressors). (59/20) Not same (equal) are the inmates of the Fire and the dwellers of heaven. The dwellers of heaven; they are who have Salvation. (59/21) Had We sent down this Qur’ân on a mountain, you would have seen it humbled, crumbled because of its fear of Allah. We give these examples for the mankind that they may reflect. (59/22) It is Allah that there is no god but Him. He is the All-Knower of the Unseen and the seen. He is the Most-Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (59/23) It is Allah that besides Whom there is no deity; He is the King, the Holy One, the Giver of Peace, the Granter of Security), the Guardian over all, the Mighty One, the Compeller, the Possessor of every Greatness. Glory be to Allah from what they associate as partners with Him. (59/24) It is Allah that He is the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner; His are the Most Beautiful Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom).

Al-Mumtahanah
(60/1) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Do not take my and your enemies for friends! And although they have denied what has come to you from the Truth, you still love them (treating them as your friends). They are driving out the Messenger and yourselves from your land because you believe in Allah, your Lord. If you go forth to struggle hard in My Way, seeking My Pleasure, (then why) you manifest love to them and share with them your secrets. And I know what you conceal and what you manifest. And whoever of you does that, then he indeed has gone astray from the right Way. (60/2) If they seize you, they become your enemy. And extend their hands and their tongues towards you with harm. And they desired for you that “you should have disbelieved”. (60/3) On the Day of Resurrection your relatives your children will never avail you. He will separate between you (and them). And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do. (60/4) Indeed Abraham and those with him had been an excellent example for you. They had said to their people: “We are certainly far from you and what you worship besides Allah, we deny you. And until you believe in Allah Alone, enmity and resentment have begun between us and you forever”. Except the statement of Abraham to his father: “Verily, I will ask forgiveness (from Allah) for you, but I have no power to prevent anything that would come to you from Allah. Our Lord! In You we put our trust, and to You we turned. And to You is the return”. (60/5) Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the disbelievers! And forgive us, our Lord. Surely You, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (60/6) Certainly, there is an excellent example for you in them for those who had wished for Allah (for reaching the Essence of Allah) and the Last Day. And whoever turns, then surely Allah is All-Rich, the Most Praised. (60/7) It is hoped that Allah shall bring about friendship between you and those whom you hold to be your enemies among them. And Allah is All-Powerful (Omnipotent). And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One Who manifests with His Merciful Attribute). (60/8) Allah does not forbid you from dealing justly and kindly with those who did not fight against you in the matter of religion nor drove you out of your land. Surely Allah loves the doers of justice (those who deal with equity). (60/9) But Allah forbids you from turning to (befriending) those who fought against you on account of religion, and drove you forth from your land and supported your expulsion, that you may turn to (make friends with) them. And whoever turns to (make friends with) them, they are the wrong-doers. (60/10) O you who believe (who are âmenû)! When believing women come to you as emigrants, test them (ask their reason of emigration). Allah best knows their faith. Then if you know (ascertain) that they are believers, do not send them back to the disbelievers. They (believing women) are not lawful to the others (disbelieving men). The others (disbelieving men) are not lawful for them (believing women) either. Give them (to the disbelieving men) what they have spent (for the believing women as “Mahr”). And there will be no sin upon you to marry them if you have paid their “Mahr” (Bridal money given by the husband) to them. And do not hold to the ties of marriage of disbelieving women. And ask for what you have spent (as Mahr). And let them ask for what they have spent as well. This is the ruling of Allah. He has been ruling between you. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise (Owner of Judgment). (60/11) And if anything (Mahr) has passed away from you to the disbelievers because of your wives (if the disbelievers do not give the Mahr to the women that come to you after divorcing them), then when your turn comes, you give (Mahr) to those whose wives have gone away (to the disbelievers) the like of what they have spent (from the booty you received), and you have piety towards Allah in Whom you believe! (60/12) O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you a pledge, accepting that they will not associate anything with Allah and will not steal, and will not commit adultery, and will not kill their children, and will not bring a slander which they have forged between their hands and their feet, and will not disobey you in what is good, accept their pledge and ask forgiveness for them from Allah. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving (the One Who converts the sins into merits), Most Merciful (the One Who manifests with His Mercy Attribute). (60/13) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Do not turn to (do not make friends with) a people who incurred the Wrath of Allah (held from His Mercy). Indeed they have despaired of the Hereafter (they do not believe in life after death) as the disbelievers have despaired of those who are in graves (that they will not be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection).

As-Saff
(61/1) Whatever is in the heavens and in the earth glorified (and glorifies) Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (61/2) O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Why do you say that which you will not? (61/3) It has become a great crime in the Presence of Allah for you to say what you will not. (61/4) Surely Allah loves those who fight in His Way forming a row. They are like solid structures strengthened as they are brought together. (61/5) And Moses had said to his people: “O my people! Indeed I am Allah’s Messenger for you, even though you know (this), why do you persecute me”? As they turned away (from the Truth), Allah turned their hearts as well. Allah does not make the transgressing people reach Hidayet. (61/6) And Jesus, son of Mary had said: “O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) unto you, confirming everything in the Torah which is in my hand and giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad”. But when he brought to them clear miracles (proofs) they said: “This is clear magic”. (61/7) And who is more wrong-doing than he who forges a lie against Allah as he is invited to Islam (to submission)? And Allah does not cause the wrong-doers to reach Hidayet. (61/8) They desire to put out the Glory of Allah with their mouths. And Allah is the One Who shall complete His Glory even though the disbelievers hate it. (61/9) He it is Who sends His Messenger with Hidayet and the True Religion (the pre and post-eternal Religion of Allah) that He may explain (and prove its truthfulness) over all of the religions (where the essentials are forgotten). And even if the disbelievers may hate it. (61/10) O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Shall I guide you to a trade that will deliver you from a painful torment? (61/11) If you believe in Allah and His Messenger and struggle hard in the Way of Allah with your property and your lives; this is better for you, if you but know it. (61/12) He forgives your sins and puts you into heavens under which the rivers flow. And places you in pleasant dwellings in heavens of Eden. This is Fevz-ül Azîm (the Mighty Salvation). (61/13) And yet another thing you will love; help from Allah and a near conquest. And give glad tidings to the believers. (61/14) O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Be the helpers of Allah! Just like when Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples: “Who are my helpers to (reach) Allah?” as the disciples said: “We are the helpers of Allah”. Upon that a party of the Children of Israel believed and a party denied. Then We supported those who believed against their enemies, so they became victorious.

Al-Jumu'ah
(62/1) Whatever is in the heavens and in the earth glorifies Allah that (He is) the King (the Owner of the Dominion), the Holy, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (62/2) He it is Who raises (commissions) among the unlettered a Messenger of their own. He recites (reads and explains) to them His Verses and cleanses them (their souls), teaches them the Book (the Noble Qur’ân) and the Wisdom. And verily, they had been before (wishing to reach Allah) in manifest Misguidance. (62/3) And those who have not yet joined them from among them, and also the ones after them. And He is the All-Mighty (Superior), the All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (62/4) This is Allah’s Virtue. He grants that to whom He wills, and Allah is the Owner of the Greatest Virtue. (62/5) The likeness of those who were loaded (read the obligations of Torah) with the Torah, but who subsequently did not carry it (who did not apply it to their lives) is as the likeness of a donkey which bears loads of books. How terrible is the case of the people who belie the Verses of Allah, and Allah does not deliver the wrongdoing people to Hidayet. (62/6) Say: “O Jews! If you assumed that you are friends of Allah (only), apart from all other mankind, if you are truthful, wish for death”. (62/7) And they forever cannot wish for it (death) because of what they have presented (committed) with their hands before. And Allah knows best the wrong-doers. (62/8) Say: “The death from which you flee, that will surely get to you (you will face death), then you shall be made to return to the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen (to Allah). Then (Allah) will inform you of that which you have done”. (62/9) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! When the call is made for the prayer on Friday, immediately hasten to Dhikr (the remembrance) of Allah, and leave off trading. This is better for you, if you did but know! (62/10) Now when you are done with the prayer, disperse in the land and seek of Allah’s Virtue, and remember Allah much (repeat the Name of Allah much). It is hoped that you may have Salvation. (62/11) And when they saw trading or amusement, they turned and dispersed to it, and left you standing. Say: “What in the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement and trading, and Allah is the Best of the sustainers.

Al-Munafiqun
(63/1) When the hypocrites came to you, they said: “We bear witness that you are most surely Allah’s Messenger indeed”. And Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger indeed. And Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars. (63/2) They took their oaths a shelter, thus they diverted (and made others divert) from the Way of Allah. Surely evil is that which they have done. (63/3) This is because they have believed (they have reached Hidayet after wishing to reach Allah before death and rendered their spirits to Allah) then have disbelieved. Therefore top of their hearts is sealed. They can no longer understand (comprehend). (63/4) And when you see them, their outer appearance astounds you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech, yet they are like propped-up beams of timber against a wall. They deem every shout (noise) to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them. May Allah destroy them, how are they made to turn away? (63/5) And when it is said to them (disbelievers): “Come, so the Messenger of Allah asks forgiveness for you”, they have shaken their heads to both sides mocking. And you have seen them turned their faces away. And they are the arrogant people. (63/6) It is same for them whether you ask forgiveness or not. Allah never forgives them. Surely Allah does not deliver the transgressing people to Hidayet. (63/7) They (disbelievers) are the ones who say: “Do not spend upon (give to) those who are with the Messenger of Allah so that they break up and leave”. And Allah’s are the treasures of the heavens and the earth, and but the disbelievers cannot comprehend. (63/8) They are saying: “If we return to the City, the mightier surely drives out the weaker from there (the City). The Might (Honor, Glory) belongs to Allah and His Messenger and the believers. And but the disbelievers do not know. (63/9) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Let not your wealth or your children keep you from Dhikr (the remembrance) of Allah. And whoever does that, then these, these are the ones in Loss. (63/10) And spend out of what We have given you as sustenance before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: “My Lord! If only You would respite me to a near term, so that I should have given alms and been of the improved ones”. (63/11) And Allah never respites a soul when its term has come, and Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

(64/1) Whatever is in the heavens and in the earth glorifies Allah. To Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him is due praise. And He has Power over all things (Omnipotent). (64/2) He it is Who created you. Yet some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (64/3) He created the heavens and the earth with the truth. And He gave you a form. Then He made your forms the best of the best. And to Him is the return (the Station to be reached is He, His Person). (64/4) He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And He knows what you hide and what you reveal. And Allah is All-Knower of what is in the hearts. (64/5) Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? Then they tasted the negative responsibility of their conduct, and for them there is a painful torment. (64/6) This is because when their Messengers brought to them clear proofs, they said: “Shall a human being deliver us to Hidayet”? So they disbelieved and turned away. And Allah showed that He is ‘Mustagni’ (not in need of anything, even their belief). And Allah is Rich, Worthy of all praise. (64/7) Those who disbelieve assumed that they shall never be raised (resurrected). Say: “No! By my Lord! You shall most certainly be raised (resurrected). Then you shall most certainly be informed of what you did”. And that is easy for Allah. (64/8) Therefore believe in Allah, His Messenger and the Glorious Light which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (64/9) On the Day when He will gather you for the Day of Gathering, that is the Day of deception. And whoever believes in Allah and does improving deed (the soul’s cleansing), He covers his evil deeds. And puts him into Heavens under which the rivers flow, to abide therein forever. This is the Greatest Salvation. (64/10) Those who disbelieve and belie Our Verses; they are the inmates of the Fire, to abide therein (hell) forever. And how evil (it is) as a destination. (64/11) No calamity befalls except by the Permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah, (Allah) reaches to his heart, and Allah is All-Knower of everything. (64/12) And obey Allah and obey the Messenger. If you still turn away, then the responsibility upon Our Messenger is only the conveyance. (64/13) Allah! There is no deity but He. And therefore let the believers put their trust in Allah. (64/14) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Surely from among your wives and your children there are enemies to you. Therefore stay away from them. And if you pardon and overlook and forgive, then surely Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. (64/15) Yet, your wealth and children are only a mischief (trial), and Allah it is with Whom (in His Presence) is the Greatest Reward. (64/16) So have piety towards Allah as much as you can (at a highest level you can). Hear and obey! And spend as it is better for you; and whoever may save himself from the greediness of his soul, then these it is that have reached Salvation. (64/17) If you lend Allah a beautiful loan, He pays it back to you in multitudes and forgives you. And Allah is the Thanked One (and the One Who is Responsive to those who give thanks), the Most Gentle. (64/18) All-Knower of the Unseen and what is witnessed (the Seen). He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

At-Talaq
(65/1) O Nabi (prophet)! When you divorce women, divorce them counting their periods at their waiting periods. And have piety towards Allah, your Lord. Do not be the one who drives them out of their houses, nor should they themselves leave, unless they come to you with an open prostitution. And these are the limits of Allah, and whoever goes beyond the limits of Allah, then indeed he has wronged his own soul. You would not know, after that Allah may (open another door) bring about a new thing (situation). (65/2) So when they (the wives that you have divorced) have reached their waiting time, then retain (lodge) them with kindness (based on your traditions and with goodness) or separate from them with kindness (set them free). And two from among you who are just should witness. Be a witness for Allah. The one who believes in Allah and the latter day (the day of reaching Allah before death) is admonished with this (is asked to this). And whoever has piety towards Allah; (Allah) makes for him an outlet. (65/3) And gives him sustenance from where he did not expect. Whoever puts his trust in Allah, He (Allah) is Sufficient for him. Surely Allah is the One Who accomplishes His Order (Affair). Allah had set a fate for all things. (65/4) And if you become suspicious of your women who have despaired of menstruation, then their prescribed time is three months, and of those too who have not. The waiting time for the loaded (pregnant) women is until they lay down their burden (give a birth). And whoever becomes the owner of piety towards Allah, (Allah) makes easy for him his affair. (65/5) This is the Command of Allah which He has sent down to you. And whoever becomes the owner of piety towards Allah; Allah covers their sins and increases his reward to the highest. (65/6) Lodge them where you lodge according to your means, and do not harm them in order that you may straiten them; and if they are loaded (pregnant), then spend on them (give their allowances) until they lay down their burden (until birth). And then if they suckle for you, give them their due payment. And meet with each another on a most reasonable basis and if you experience any difficulties, then you shall have him suckle another (woman). (65/7) Those who have abundance spend out of their abundance, and whoever has his means of subsistence straitened to him, let him spend out of that which Allah has given him. Allah does not hold a person responsible with more than He has given him. Allah shall bring about ease after hardship. (65/8) And many countries rebelled against the Commandment of their Lord and His Messengers (they crossed the line). Therefore We questioned them with a severe questioning and tormented them with a dire torment. (65/9) So (the people of those countries) tasted the evil result of their affairs, and the result of their affairs was Loss. (65/10) Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. O Uli’l elbab (the owners of the continuous Dhikr, and thus of the secret treasures of Allah) who believe (are Amenu)! Therefore be the owners of (higher level of) piety towards Allah. Allah had sent down the Dhikr (Qur’an) to you. (65/11) Rasul (the Messenger) recites (reads and explains) to you the Verses of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (the soul’s cleansing) from the layers of utter darkness into the glorious light. And whoever believes in Allah and does improving deed (that ameliorates the soul), He puts him into Heavens under which the rivers flow, to abide therein forever. (The Essence) Allah has been the best sustenance for him (the Messenger). (65/12) Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like of them (seven ground levels). The Command continues to descend between them (heavens and below ground), that you may know that Allah has Power over all things and that Allah indeed encompasses (surrounds) all things with (His) Knowledge.

At-Tahrim
(66/1) O Nabi (Prophet)! Why do you forbid for yourself that which Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. (66/2) Allah has obligated you with the solution of your (vain) promises (through ransom). And Allah is your Friend and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. (66/3) Nabi (the Prophet) had disclosed a matter in secret to some of his wives. But when she informed others of it (the secret) and Allah made it known to him (His Prophet). (And the Nabi) made known some parts of it and omitted others. When he informed her of it (that he knew this), she said: “Who informed you of this”? (The Prophet) said: “The All-Knowing, the All-Aware, informed me”. (66/4) You both shall repent to Allah (and you must do it). Because both your hearts had slipped. And if you back up each other against him (the Prophet), then surely Allah, He is Who is his (the Prophet’s) Friend and Gabriel and the improved believers and the angels after that are the helpers to him as well. (66/5) If (he) divorces you, it is hoped that his Lord may give him in your place wives better than you, who are submitted women (to Allah), believing women, revering women, penitent women, servant women, fasting women, widow and virgin women. (66/6) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Guard yourselves and your families from the Fire whose fuel is humans and stones. Over it are angels strong and stern (ruthless). They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded. (66/7) O you who deny! Make no excuses on that Day! You will be punished only for what you used to do. (66/8) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Repent to Allah with Tevbeten Nasûhâ (an Irrevocable Repentance)! It is hoped that your Lord covers your sins and puts you into heavens under which the rivers flow. On that Day, Allah will not make the Prophets and those who are with him grieve. They run with their glory before them and on their right. They say: “Our Lord! Complete our glory, and forgive us (convert our sins into merits). Surely You are Omnipotent”. (66/9) O Nabi (Prophet)! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites. And be stern against them. Their abode is Hell, and how evil as a destination. (66/10) Allah set forth the example for those who disbelieve the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were both under (the marriage of) two of Our improved servants. But they both betrayed. So they (Noah and Lot) did not avail them (their respective wives) against Allah (a torment) and it was said to them: “Enter both in the Fire along with those who enter (it)”. (66/11) And Allah set forth the example to those who believe (who are âmenû) the wife of Pharaoh. She had said: “My Lord! Build for me a house in Your Presence in heaven and deliver me from Pharaoh and his actions. And deliver me from the unjust people”. (66/12) And Mary, the daughter of Imrân whose chastity was best of the best. Therefore We breathed into her from Our Spirit and she confirmed the Words of her Lord and His Books. And she became of the Qânitîn.
