Al-Mulk
(67/1) Blessed is He in Whose Hand (Power) is the Dominion, and He is Omnipotent. (67/2) It is He Who has created death and life that He may try you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. (67/3) It is He Who has created skies in seven layers. You see no disharmony in the creation of the All-Merciful. So turn your gaze (look again), do you see any rift (crack)? (67/4) Then turn back your look two more times. Your look shall come (back) to you weakened and fatigued. (67/5) And certainly We have adorned the world’s sky with candles and We have made them rocks for the satans (to be thrown at them). And We have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire. (67/6) And for those who deny their Lord is the Torment of Hell. And how evil as a destination. (67/7) When they were cast therein (in hell), they heard the scary boiling (roaring) sound of it. (67/8) It (hell) almost bursts up with its anger. Whenever a group is cast therein, its (hell) keepers asked them: “Did no warner come to you”? (67/9) They (people of hell) said: “Yes, indeed a warner had come to us, but we belied him and said: ‘Allah never sent down anything, you are only in a great Misguidance’”. (67/10) And they said: “If we had heard or pondered, we would not have been among the inmates of the blazing Fire”. (67/11) So they confessed their sins. Then let the inmates of the Fire be far (from Allah’s Mercy)! (67/12) Certainly they have reverence to their Lord in the Unseen, for them are Forgiveness and a Great Reward (Wage). (67/13) And conceal your word or manifest it. Surely He (Allah) is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts. (67/14) Would not the Creator know (what He created)? And He is the Most Kind, the All-Aware. (67/15) He it is Who has made the earth humble (subservient to) for you. Therefore go about on its shoulders (on it, on mountains, valleys), and eat of His sustenance. And to Him is the resurrection and gathering. (67/16) Do you feel secure that He (Allah) Who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to sink with you, when it (the earth) quakes? (67/17) Or do you feel secure that He (Allah) Who is in the heaven will not send down upon you a storm (of pebbles)? Then you shall know soon how was My warning. (67/18) And indeed those before them also belied. Then how was My torment? (67/19) Do they not see the birds above them in lines, spreading out their wings and folding them? None upholds them except the Most-Beneficent. Surely He is the All-Seer of everything. (67/20) Or who are these soldiers to assist you besides the Most-Beneficent? The disbelievers are only in arrogance (deception). (67/21) Or who are these people who will give you sustenance if He (Allah) should withhold (stop) his sustenance? Nay, they insisted in crossing the line and being distant (from the Truth). (67/22) Then, is he who goes prone upon his face is in more Hidayet or he who walks upright upon Sıratı Mustakîm (a Path directed to Allah)? (67/23) Say: “He it is Who constructed you (created you from nothing into a being) and gave you the senses of hearing, seeing and comprehending. How little thanks you give”! (67/24) Say: “He it is who multiplied and spread you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered”. (67/25) And they say: “When shall this promise (threat of torment) come to pass (be fulfilled) if you are telling the truth (if you are truthful)”? (67/26) Say: “This knowledge is only in the Presence Allah and I am only a plain warner (of Allah’s torment)”. (67/27) But when they saw it closely, the faces of those who disbelieved turned black and they were told: “This is that which (the Torment) you used to ask (when it would come to pass)”. (67/28) Say: “Have you seen; If Allah should destroy me and those with me, or He has mercy upon us; yet who will deliver the disbelievers from a painful torment”? (67/29) Say: “He is the Most-Beneficent, we believed in Him and in Him we put our trust”, so you shall come to know soon who it is that is in manifest Misguidance. (67/30) Say: “Have you seen; if all your water were to sink down the earth, who is it then that will bring you flowing water”?

Al-Qalam
(68/1) Nûn. By the Pen and what it writes down line by line. (68/2) By the Blessing of your Lord, you are not mad. (68/3) And most surely, for you will be a reward never to be cut off. (68/4) And most surely you are on a high level of morality. (68/5) So you shall soon see, and they too shall see. (68/6) Which of you is the demented (perplexed)? (68/7) Surely your Lord, He best knows him who has gone astray from His Way, and He also best knows those who have reached Hidayet. (68/8) Therefore, do not obey those who belie. (68/9) They wished (asked) that you should be lenient so they too would be lenient. (68/10) And do not obey any of those who swear much in vainness. (68/11) To those who constantly try to find others’ mistakes, carry the words to others (do not obey them). (68/12) To those who hinder the good, the sinful who exceed the limits (do not obey them). (68/13) To those tyrant who harm, besides all that, the sinful who possesses without right (do not obey them). (68/14) (Because) they have wealth and sons (do not obey them). (68/15) When Our Verses were recited to him, he said: “The tales of the men of old”. (68/16) Soon We shall brand him on his nose. (68/17) Surely We afflicted them, as We afflicted the owners of the garden, as they were swearing to share its crop early in the morning (without showing them to the poor). (68/18) And they are not making any exceptions. (68/19) But there passed by on it (the garden) a disaster by your Lord while they were sleeping. (68/20) So it (the crop) turned black (the garden turned to a barren land). (68/21) Finally they called out to each other at daybreak. (68/22) If you are going to share, go to your garden early! (68/23) So they left (the house), whispering to one another. (68/24) Do not allow anyone poor enter there (the garden) today next to you. (68/25) And they went early in the morning, thinking that they have power (to prevent the poor) from entering. (68/26) But when they saw it (the condition of the garden) they said: “Most surely we are the people who are in Misguidance”. (68/27) Nay! Indeed we are deprived people. (68/28) The one who could think most reasonably said: “Did I not tell you that if you do not glorify (Allah) that would not be (that you have to glorify)? (68/29) They said: “Glory be to our Lord (He is Omnipotent), surely We have become wrong-doing people”. (68/30) Then they replied to each other, blaming one another. (68/31) Woe to us, surely we have become the people who exceeded the limit. (68/32) It is hoped that our Lord will give us better than this instead. Surely we are the ones who love our Lord. (68/33) This is how the torment is, certainly the Torment of the Hereafter is greater, did they but know! (68/34) Surely for the owners of piety there are Naîm heavens with their Lord. (68/35) Just like that, shall We make (consider) Muslimîn (those who are submitted) as the sinners (guilty)? (68/36) What is the matter with you? How do you judge? (68/37) Or do you have a Book from which you acquire knowledge? (68/38) What you like and choose in it (that book) are surely yours (is that written in it)? (68/39) Or do you have oaths from Us, all the way to the Day of Resurrection that ‘yours is what you judge’. (68/40) Ask them “which of them is the defender of this? (68/41) Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they are the truthful. (68/42) On the Day when all the truth shall come out openly, they shall be called to prostrate themselves but they shall not be able (to do so). (68/43) An abasement covers them as their eyes fear with dread. They were called to prostrate themselves while they were well (healthy and safe). (68/44) So leave Me the people who belied this Word. We soon will lead them slowly (to the torment) from whence they do not perceive. (68/45) And I am giving them time. Surely My plot is severe. (68/46) Or is it that you ask them a wage? So that they are heavily burdened with debt? (68/47) Or that the Unseen (the unknown worlds) is near them, so that they write down? (68/48) So wait patiently for the Judgment of your Lord, and be not like the owner of the Fish (like Jonah). He had cried out (to his Lord) while he was in deep sorrow. (68/49) Had not a Blessing from his Lord reached him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked ground while he was blamed. (68/50) But his Lord chose him, and made him of the improved ones. (68/51) And those who deny almost knock you down to the ground with their eyes when they hear the Dhikr (the Qur’ân) and they say: “Most surely he is indeed mad”. (68/52) And it (the Qur’an) is nothing else but a Dhikr (Reminder) for the Worlds.

Al-Haqqah
(69/1) The Reality (the Inevitable). (69/2) What is the Reality (Inevitable)? (69/3) And what is it that lets you know what the Reality (Inevitable) is? (69/4) (The nation of) Thamûd and Âd belied the “Qâri’ah” (the Dreadful Event). (69/5) But therefore Thamûd (nation) was destroyed by an excessive (severe) torment. (69/6) And but Âd (nation) however (too) was destroyed by an extremely freezing, excessively blowing fierce storm. (69/7) (Allah) assigned it (the storm) upon them seven nights and eight days continuously. After that you see that nation therein lying on ground overthrown as if they were hollow trunks of palm-trees. (69/8) So are there any remains belonging to them, do you see any? (69/9) And Pharaoh and those before him and the people of the overthrown cities came with that great fault (they had denied the Day of Resurrection, the account to be given to Allah, being punished). (69/10) And they rebelled against the Messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with an intense Seizure. (69/11) Surely We carried you in (the floating) Ark when the water rose high (during the storm). (69/12) So that We may make it a lesson to you, and that the hearing ear might retain it. (69/13) And when the Trumpet is blown with a single blast. (69/14) And when the earth and the mountains are removed from their places and crushed with a single shake. (69/15) Then on that Day of Permission that (Great) Event had taken place. (69/16) And the sky has been split up; so that on that Day it has been weakened (its equilibrium is broken). (69/17) And that angel is around it (the sky). And on the Day of Permission, the number of those who carry the Arsh (beyond existence) of your Lord upon them are eight. (69/18) On the Day of Permission you shall be presented (to your Lord). No secret of yours shall remain hidden. (69/19) Then the one who is given his book (his life film) from his right hand side says: “Take, read my book”. (69/20) Surely I knew that I would have to meet (reach) my Account. (69/21) That he is in a life which he is pleased with. (69/22) They are in a high heaven. (69/23) The ripe fruits of which are near at hand (hanging low). (69/24) Eat and drink at ease (as a reward) for what you have done in the past days! (69/25) And the one who is given his book (his life film) from his left hand side says then: “I wish my book had never been given me”. (69/26) And I had not known what my Account was. (69/27) I wish it (my life) had been ended (when I died). (69/28) My wealth has not benefited me. (69/29) My authority (power of wealth) is ruined. (69/30) Seize him and fetter (cuff) him. (69/31) Then throw him into the blazing Fire! (69/32) Then transfer him (into hell) in a chain the length of which is seventy cubits. (69/33) Surely he was not believing (having faith) in Allah, the Most Great. (69/34) Nor was he encouraging feeding the needy. (69/35) Therefore on that day, he does not have an intimate friend here. (69/36) Nor any other food except bloody pus. (69/37) None eats it except the sinners. (69/38) But nay! I swear by that which you see. (69/39) And that which you do not see as well. (69/40) Most surely that is the Word of an honored Rasul (Messenger). (69/41) And it is not the word of a poet. How little do you believe! (69/42) And it is not the word of an oracle either. How little do you remember. (69/43) It has been sent down by the Lord of the Worlds. (69/44) And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings. (69/45) We would certainly have seized him by his right side. (69/46) Then We would certainly have cut off his vital artery. (69/47) Also none of you can stop from that (avoid this). (69/48) And most surely it (the Qur’ân) is an advice for the Muttaqîn (the owners of piety). (69/49) And most surely We know that some of you are beliers (who reject this Qur’ân). (69/50) And most surely it (the Qur’ân ) is indeed longing for the disbelievers. (69/51) And most surely it is indeed the true certainty (absolutely knowing Allah). (69/52) So glorify your Lord with the Name of the Most Great!

Al-Ma'arij
(70/1) One willing individual demanded the condition (torment) that will befall. (70/2) For the disbelievers, there is none to avert it. (70/3) (That torment is) from Allah, the Owner of the High Degrees. (70/4) To Him ascend the angels and the Spirit in a Day the measure of which is fifty thousand years. (70/5) So be patient with a beautiful patience. (70/6) Surely they see it (the torment that will occur for the disbelievers) far off. (70/7) And We see it being near. (70/8) On that Day (of Torment) the sky will be as molten metal. (70/9) And the mountains will be as multicolored flakes of wool (flying around in pieces). (70/10) And (on that day) no intimate friend asks of another intimate friend. (70/11) They shall be shown to one another; the sinner hopes to offer his sons as ransom to redeem himself from the torment of that Day. (70/12) And his own wife and his brother. (70/13) And his kindred who sheltered him. (70/14) And (to give) all that are in the earth, so that he might save himself. (70/15) By no means! Surely it (what he wants to be saved from) is a flaming Fire. (70/16) (That fire is) burning and scorching the skin of the head. (70/17) Calls him who turns his back and turns away his face (from Faith). (70/18) And him who collected (commodities, wealth) then hoarded them. (70/19) Surely the human is created impatient and greedy. (70/20) When an evil touches him, he cries out. (70/21) And he is stingy when a good touches him. (70/22) Except those who perform prayer. (70/23) They are the ones who continue to their prayer. (70/24) And they are the ones in whose wealth there is a recognized right. (70/25) For those who ask and the destitute. (70/26) And they confirm the Day of the Religion. (70/27) And they are the ones who are fearful of the Torment of their Lord. (70/28) Surely the Torment of their Lord is not to be felt secure of. (70/29) And they are the ones who guard their chastity. (70/30) Except with their spouses and those whom their right hands possess (their concubines), because they surely are not blamed. (70/31) After this whoever seeks beyond that, these it is that has exceed the limit. (70/32) And they are the ones who comply with their trusts and their covenant. (70/33) And they are the ones who steadfast to their testimonies. (70/34) And they are the ones who keep a guard on their prayer (they continue to pray). (70/35) Those are the ones who are served in heavens. (70/36) Why all of a sudden did those who disbelieve start to run fast towards you? (70/37) From the right and left, in scattered groups. (70/38) Do they all hope to enter the Naîm heaven. (70/39) By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. (70/40) But nay (It is not so)! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly Omnipotent. (70/41) To replace them by others better than them! And We are not to be stopped. (70/42) Now leave them, let them plunge in vain talk and play until they meet their Day which they are promised. (70/43) The Day when they shall come out of their graves quickly, they are as racing to a goal. (70/44) Their eyes are in fear, abasement covers them. This is the Day which they were promised.

(71/1) Surely We sent Noah to his people (as a Messenger to): “Warn your people before a painful torment comes to them”. (71/2) (Noah) said: “O my people! Surely I am an obvious Warner to you”. (71/3) (That) you should become servants to Allah and have piety towards Him. And obey (depend on) me. (71/4) (So that Allah) may forgive you of your sins (change your evil deeds into merits) and respite you to an appointed term. Surely when the term of Allah comes, it cannot be postponed; did you but know! (71/5) (Noah) said (to his Lord): “My Lord! Surely I invited my people (to have their spirit return to you) night and day”! (71/6) But my invitation has not increased anything with them but fleeing (getting farther) more (from me). (71/7) And whenever I have invited them that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers in their ears (in order not to hear me), covered themselves up with their garments (in order not to see me), and persisted (in their refusal) and magnified themselves with pride. (71/8) Then surely I invited them aloud (evidently). (71/9) Then surely I spoke to them in public and I spoke to them in secret (in private one at a time). (71/10) Then I said: “Say you are asking forgiveness from your Lord, surely He is Oft-Forgiving”. (71/11) He shall send upon you the sky with abundance of rain. (71/12) And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you heavens (fruitful gardens), and make rivers run for you. (71/13) (Noah said to his people): “Why do not you hope for dignity (greatness, power, excellence) from Allah”? (71/14) And indeed He has created you in different phases. (71/15) Do you not see how Allah has created seven layers of skies one above another? (71/16) And made the moon therein a Nûr (glorious light) and made the sun a lamp. (71/17) And Allah has made you grow out of the earth like a plant. (71/18) Then He will make you return there (earth), then He will bring you forth (from there). (71/19) And Allah has made for you the earth a wide abode. (71/20) He made therein wide ways that you may travel. (71/21) (Noah) said: “My Lord, surely they have rebelled against me (disobeyed me) and followed those whose wealth and children have added to them but loss”. (71/22) And they have plotted mighty plots. (71/23) And they have said (to each other): “By no means leave your own deities (idols), nor leave Wadd, nor Suwâ, nor Yaghûth, nor Ya’ûg nor Nasr”. (71/24) And (thus) they have left many in Misguidance. And (Noah said): “Do not increase the wrongdoers in anything but Misguidance”. (71/25) Because of their faults (great sins) they drowned, then made to enter Fire. So they did not find any helper besides Allah. (71/26) And Noah said: “My Lord, do not leave upon the earth any single individual from among the disbelievers”. (71/27) Surely if You leave them (on the earth) they will cause your servants to fall into Misguidance and they will not beget none but wicked disbelievers (children). (71/28) My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and those who enter my house as a believer and the believing men and the believing women. Do not increase the wrong-doers in anything but destruction!

Al-Jinn
(72/1) Say: “It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened (to the Qur’ân) and they said: Surely we have heard a wonderful, beautiful Qur’ân”. (72/2) “It (Qur’ân) guides to Irshad (the immaterial Maturity), so we have believed in it, and we shall not join anything with our Lord”. (72/3) And our Lord’s Majesty is so exalted. (We believe that) He has taken neither an owner (wife) nor a son. (72/4) And (we believe that) the foolish amongst us (Lucifer) uttered against Allah fallacious (non-sense) things. (72/5) And that we truly thought that the humans and the jinn never utter a lie against Allah. (72/6) And verily, there were the males among mankind were taking shelter with the males among the jinn. So they increased their (jinn’s) transgression. (72/7) And indeed they also supposed as you supposed, that Allah would not raise anyone. (72/8) And that we indeed touched the heaven, then we found it filled with strong guards and Shuhûb (flaming fires). (72/9) And that we truly used to sit in the sitting-places thereof to listen (to the words of angels). But he who would try to listen now finds a Shuhûb (flaming fire) watching (following) him. (72/10) And that we truly do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intended for them their attaining to Irshad (immaterial maturity). (72/11) And truly we are that some of us are the improved ones and some others are far from that. We have been (groups) in different ways. (72/12) And truly we have understood that we cannot render Allah impotent in the earth, nor can we render Him impotent escaping (from Him). (72/13) And truly when we heard the Hidayet, we believed in it. So whoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of not being given his due or of being wronged. (72/14) And that surely some of us are those who have surrendered (to Allah), and some of us are “Al-Qâsitûn” (those whose hearts have been darkened and hardened). So whoever has surrendered (to Allah, whoever has submitted the spirit to Allah), these are the ones who seek becoming Irshad (surrendering the soul and the free will). (72/15) And but the Qâsitûn (those whose hearts have been darkened and hardened because of not doing “Dhikr”), that they have become firewood for Hell. (72/16) And if they turned (to Allah) being on the roads (Tariqat), we would have certainly give them to drink of abundant water (We would have sent them plenty of mercy). (72/17) So that we might try them with respect to it. And whoever turns away from the Dhikr Reminder (the remembrance) of his Lord, He makes him enter into ever growing torment. (72/18) And truly the places of worship (the Masjids) are for Allah. Therefore do not call upon any others with Allah. (72/19) And truly when the servant of Allah (Mohammed) stood up calling (reciting the Qur’an) upon Him (Allah) they were gathering (around him) almost one upon another. (72/20) Say: “I only call upon my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with Him”. (72/21) Say: “It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to make you attain to Irshad (the spiritual maturity)”. (72/22) Say: “Surely no one can protect me against something from Allah, nor can I find besides Him (Allah) any place of refuge”. (72/23) (This is) only a conveyance of what is from Allah and His Message. And whoever rebels against Allah and His Messenger, then surely for him there is the Fire of Hell to abide in it forever. (72/24) Finally, when they see what they are promised then shall they know soon whose helper is weaker and less in number. (72/25) Say: “(I would have let you know) if I knew whether that which you are promised is near or whether my Lord will give it a distant term”? (72/26) He (Allah) is the Knower of the Unseen! But He does not disclose His Unseen to anyone. (72/27) Except of the Rasul (Messenger) with him He is Well-Pleased (to him who has attained to the Total Consent of Allah)! In that case He assigns watching guards before and behind them. (72/28) So that they may know that they have truly conveyed the Messages of their Lord. And He (Allah) had encompassed what is with them (with His Knowledge). And He had counted and recorded the number of all things.

Al-Muzzammil
(73/1) O you who is wrapped up, hiding! (73/2) Get up at night, except a little portion of it! (73/3) Half of it (the night), or lessen it a little (of the half). (73/4) Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an beautifully, in a measured rhythmic tone. (73/5) Surely We shall soon send down to you a weighty Word. (73/6) Surely the rising by night is (difficult but) stronger in effectiveness and more secure in recitation. (73/7) Surely, there is for you by day a prolonged occupation. (73/8) And remember (repeat) the Name of your Lord and reach Him by detaching yourself from everything. (73/9) He (Allah) is the Lord of the East and the West. There is no god but He. So take Him for a Surrogate. (73/10) And be patient with what they say. And leave them with a kind leaving. (73/11) And leave to Me the owners of blessings who belie, and respite them a little. (73/12) Surely with Us are heavy chains (that go on the ankles) and a blazing Fire. (73/13) And a food that chokes, and a painful torment. (73/14) On that Day the earth and the mountains quake with a violent shake, and the mountains are already crumbled and piled as sand. (73/15) Surely We have sent to you a Rasul (Messenger), to be a witness over you, as We sent a Rasul (Messenger) to Pharaoh. (73/16) But the Pharaoh rebelled against the Messenger, so We seized him with a severe Seizure. (73/17) How, then will you guard yourselves, if you deny, on the Day which shall make children gray-headed (due to their fear)? (73/18) The sky had been cracked open with it (with the severity of that Day). His (Allah’s) Promise had been brought to fulfillment. (73/19) Surely this is a Reminder (advice). So whoever wishes, takes a Way (that will make his spirit reach) to his Lord. (73/20) Surely your Lord knows that you and a party of those with you do stand (to recite the Qur'an, to do Dhikr, to be Qânitin, to perform the prayer of Tahajjud) nearly two-thirds of the night, and (sometimes) half of it, and (sometimes) a third of it. And Allah appoints the night and the day; He knew that you could never calculate it (that you could not exactly determine the intervals of the night). Therefore He has accepted your repentance. Hence read what is easy for you of the Qur'an! He knew that some among you would be sick, and others would travel in the land seeking of the Virtue (Sustenance) of Allah, and others would fight in the Way of Allah. So, read of it (Qur’an) whatever is easy for you, keep up the prayer, give alms, and lend nicely for the sake of Allah! And whatever of good you present for your soul, you find it in the Presence Allah as a better and greater reward. And ask forgiveness of Allah (repent and ask your sins to be converted into merits)! Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Al-Muddaththir
(74/1) O you who are enveloped (in garments)! (74/2) Arise and warn! (74/3) And (He is) your Lord, therefore magnify (Him). (74/4) And keep (it) your garments clean. (74/5) And keep away from (all that will cause) torment. (74/6) And do not bestow favors in order to have more (in return). (74/7) And be patient for your Lord. (74/8) Then, when the Trumpet is blown. (74/9) Surely that Day of Permission is a ‘Difficult Day’. (74/10) It is far from easy for the disbelievers. (74/11) Leave Me the person whom I created alone. (74/12) And granted him commodities, multiplying constantly. (74/13) And (gave him) sons always being by his side. (74/14) And giving him (blessings) in abundance provided him with vast opportunities. (74/15) Then he asks that I should add (more). (74/16) No, never. Surely he became obstinate about (denying) our Verses. (74/17) Soon I shall oblige him to a (mountain of fire) steep upward slope. (74/18) Surely he pondered (thought about the Qur’an) and decided. (74/19) Now he is ruined (ruined himself by being expelled from Allah’s Mercy) how he decided. (74/20) Then he is ruined (ruined himself by being repelled from Allah’s Mercy) how he decided. (74/21) Then he looked. (74/22) Then he frowned and scowled. (74/23) Then he turned his back, and turned arrogant. (74/24) Finally he said: “This can be nothing but magic that is inherited”. (74/25) This is nothing but the word of a human being. (74/26) Soon I shall make him lean against (cast him into) Saqar (a blazing Fire). (74/27) And what is it that makes you realize what Saqar (an Intense Fire) is? (74/28) It leaves nothing back (no residue of his burnt flesh) and does not abandon (him to death) (their torment continues). (74/29) (Saqar) is scorching for the mankind (their flesh). (74/30) Nineteen is upon it. (74/31) And We have not made the people (wardens) of the Fire but angels. And We have not made their number but as a mischief for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the Book may be the owners of certainty and those who believe (who are âmenû) may increase in Faith. And those who have been given the Book and the believers may not fall into suspicion. And that those in whose hearts is a disease (suspicion) and the disbelievers may say: “What does Allah mean by this matter (what is Allah trying to say)”? This is how Allah leaves in Misguidance whom He wills and delivers to Hidayet whom He wills. And none knows the armies of your Lord but He Himself. And that is nothing else than Dhikr (Remembrance) for the mankind. (74/32) Nay, by the moon! (74/33) By the night when it withdraws. (74/34) By dawn when it starts shining. (74/35) Surely it (hell) is one of the greatest (calamities). (74/36) As a warning to the mankind. (74/37) To those among you who wish to go ahead or remain behind. (74/38) All souls are held in pledge for what they have earned. (74/39) Except the owners of the oath (those who have fulfilled their oaths). (74/40) They are in heavens. They ask (the others). (74/41) Amongst the sinners (the guilty). (74/42) What has brought you into Saqar (Intense Fire)? (74/43) They said: “We did not become of those who used to offer the Salât (prayers)”. (74/44) And we were not feeding the needy. (74/45) And we were plunging into vain things with those who were plunging into vain things. (74/46) And we were belying the Day of Religion. (74/47) Till what is certain (the moment of death) came to us. (74/48) So the intercession of the intercessors shall not avail them. (74/49) Even though this is the case, how come they became the ones who turned away from Dhikr (the remembrance)? (74/50) As if they are wild donkeys taking fright. (74/51) Fleeing from a lion (in fear). (74/52) Nay, they all ask for the arrival of written pages specifically for them. (74/53) Nay, indeed they do not fear the Hereafter (74/54) Nay, it is surely a Dhikr (an advice). (74/55) So whoever pleases may deliberate (remember) It. (74/56) And none can deliberate (remember) buy whom Allah wills. He (whom He wills) is the owner of piety and the owner of forgiveness (the one whose evil deeds are converted into merits).

Al-Qiyamah
(75/1) Nay, by the Day of Resurrection. (75/2) And nay, by the accusing (blaming) soul (75/3) Does man think that we can never put his bones together again (after death)? (75/4) Nay, We are even able to remold the very tips of his fingers. (75/5) Nay, man desires to pass what is before him (the time) in Fisk and Fucur (transgression and sin). (75/6) He asks: “When is the Day of Resurrection”? (75/7) So when the sight becomes dazed with fear. (75/8) And (when) the moon becomes dark. (75/9) And (when) the sun and the moon are made to join together. (75/10) Man shall say on that Day of Permission: “Where is the place to flee”? (75/11) Nay, there is no place of refuge. (75/12) The decided place on the Day of Permission is the Presence of your Lord. (75/13) On the Day of Permission the man shall be informed of what he sent before (he had done) and (what he) put off (he had not done). (75/14) Nay, the man is a witness against his own soul. (75/15) And even if he were to put forth his excuses. (75/16) Do not move your tongue with him (Gabriel) to make haste with it (to memorize the Qur’an). (75/17) Surely on Us is the collecting and the reciting (reading) of it. (75/18) Therefore when We recite (read) it, then follow its (Qur’an’s) recital. (75/19) Then it is certainly on Us to explain it. (75/20) Nay, but you love the fleeting (life of this world). (75/21) And you abandon the Hereafter. (75/22) There are radiant faces on the Day of Permission. (75/23) Looking at their Lord. (75/24) And on the Day of Permission there are gloomy (frowning) faces. (75/25) Knowing that he will be ill treated. (75/26) Nay, when it (the soul) comes up to the collarbone (comes to the throat during death). (75/27) And it is said: “Who is the one who will save”? (75/28) And he realized that he is parting (from the world, as he is dying). (75/29) And one leg will be crossed with the other leg. (75/30) To your Lord on the Day of Permission is the transfer. (75/31) But he did not confirm nor did he pray. (75/32) And but he belied and turned away! (75/33) Then he went to his family in arrogance. (75/34) This is what you deserve, after all you deserved it! (75/35) Then this is what you deserve, well you deserved it. (75/36) Does the man think that he is to be left uncontrolled (free of responsibility)? (75/37) Was he not a Nutfah (a drop of sperm) of semen emitted? (75/38) Then it became Alaqa (an embryo). Then (Allah) created him, later designed (fashioned) him. (75/39) Then made of him a pair, the male and the female. (75/40) Is not He (who did all this) able to give life to the dead?

Al-Insan
(76/1) Has there not come over man a long period of time when he was not a thing worth mentioning (until he became a being worth mentioning) (a period that passed from his first creation as a single cell until his becoming a being worth mentioning-his birth)? (76/2) Surely We have created man from a combination of Nutfah (two cells). We will try him. Therefore We have made him a being that hears, sees. (76/3) Surely We have delivered him to a Way (leading to Allah). But either he becomes grateful (he wishes to reach Allah) or ungrateful (disbeliever) (he does not wish to reach Allah before death). (76/4) Surely We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blazing Fire. (76/5) Surely the Abrâr ones shall drink from the cups that have Kâfûr in it. (76/6) The servants of Allah cause that spring from which they drink to gush forth. (76/7) They fulfill their vow and fear the Day whose evil wide-spread (everywhere). (76/8) And they feed their most loved food to the needy, the orphan, and the captive. (76/9) We only feed you for the Countenance of Allah. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you. (76/10) Surely we fear our Lord on a Day that is hard, stressful, where the faces look horrible. (76/11) Yet Allah guarded them from the evil of such Day and delivered them to a bright face and joy. (76/12) And due to their patience He rewarded them with heaven and silk clothes. (76/13) They recline on thrones there. They see in there neither (the excessive heat of) the sun nor the biting cold. (76/14) And its (trees’) shade is close upon them and its fruits are brought closer ready for their command. (76/15) And they go around them with cups of silver and goblets of crystal. (76/16) Silver goblets that their amounts are determined. (76/17) And therein they shall be served goblets that have ginger in them. (76/18) There is a spring therein which is named Salsabil. (76/19) And young men who never age go around them. When you see them, you think they are scattered pearls. (76/20) And when you look, you become the one who had seen blessings, a great commodity and a great kingdom in there. (76/21) On them are garments of fine green silk and embroiled satin. They are adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord offered them pure (delicious) drinks (wines). (76/22) Surely this became your reward. And your striving found to be worthy of being thanked (be appreciated). (76/23) Surely We, We have sent down the Qur’ân to you by stages (verse by verse). (76/24) Therefore bear patient for the Judgment of your Lord. Do not obey from among them who are disbeliever or sinners. (76/25) And remember (repeat) the Name of your Lord day and night. (76/26) And during part of a night, prostrate yourself to Him and glorify Him for the longest during a night. (76/27) Surely they love the fleeting (life of this world). They put the heavy, difficult Day behind them (they do not consider it important). (76/28) It is We who created them and made firm their ties. And when We want, We replace them with others like them. (76/29) Surely this is an advice. So whoever wills takes a Way to his Lord. (76/30) And you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Surely Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise (the owner of wisdom and judgment). (76/31) He makes whom He wills to enter into His Mercy. And the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a painful torment.

Al-Mursalat
(77/1) By those are sent in succession (with divine knowledge). (77/2) And (by) those that keep on blowing violently. (77/3) By those that scatter with a wide spreading. (77/4) And (by) those that keep on separating. (77/5) And (by) those that deliver the Dhikr. (77/6) (These oaths) (not) to be an excuse or to be a Warner. (77/7) Surely what you are promised will take place. (77/8) As such, at that time the light of the stars are taken away. (77/9) And at that time the sky is split open. (77/10) And at that time the mountains are scattered. (77/11) And at that time, the time is made known to the Rasuls (Messengers). (77/12) For what Day are these postponed? (77/13) For the Day of Sorting (they are postponed). (77/14) And what is it that makes you comprehend that Day of Sorting? (77/15) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/16) Did We not ruin the previous ones? (77/17) Then We add the later ones (the ones that come after them) to them. (77/18) This is how We do to the sinners (the guilty). (77/19) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/20) Did We not create you from an unworthy water? (77/21) Then We placed it in a secure place. (77/22) Until an appointed term. (77/23) So, this is how We decreed. How excellent (powerful) are those who decreed that. (77/24) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/25) Have We not made the earth a place to gather? (77/26) To the living and the dead. (77/27) And We made therein rooted, high mountains and watered you with sweet water (given you a drinking water). (77/28) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/29) Go to that which you used to belie! (77/30) Go to a shadow having three branches. (77/31) Neither shades, nor helps with the fierce flame. (77/32) Surely it throws up (huge) sparks like palaces. (77/33) As if they (the sparks) are yellow male camels. (77/34) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/35) This is the Day on which they (the beliers) will not be able to speak. (77/36) And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. (77/37) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/38) This is the Day of Sorting. We have gathered you and those of old. (77/39) Go ahead, if you have a plot, use it against Me. (77/40) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/41) Surely the owners of piety are in the midst of shades and by springs. (77/42) And there are fruits they desire. (77/43) Eat and drink in joy for that which you used to do. (77/44) Surely this is how We reward the Al-Muhsinûn (good-doers). (77/45) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/46) Eat and take advantage for a little while. Because you are the guilty. (77/47) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/48) And when they are said: “Bow down!”, they do not bow down. (77/49) Woe to the beliers on the Day of Permission. (77/50) After this, in what statement will they believe.
