مَّنِ اهْتَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدي لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولاً

سورة الإسراء
(17/15) Whoever attains to Hidayet, for his own soul (as he has cleansed his soul) does he attain to Hidayet. Then whoever is in Misguidance, he remains in Misguidance, as one whose responsibility is upon himself. The bearer of a burden (sin) cannot bear the burden (sin) of another. And We never tormented (punished) until We sent a Messenger.
