(33/31) And whoever of you is obedient (devoted with reverence) to Allah and His Messenger, and does improving deeds (does the soul’s cleansing), We give her reward in double. And We have prepared for her an honorable (generous) sustenance. (33/32) O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other of the women. If you are the owners of piety, then be not soft in speech, (do not speak to men appealingly, lest he in whose heart is a disease (temptation, lust) desires. And speak a somber (serious) word. (33/33) And stay in your houses. Do not display (your embellishments) yourselves like the Time of Ignorance. And keep up the Prayer and pay Alms (Zakat). Obey Allah and His Messenger. O people of the House! Allah only wishes to keep away the sin from you and to cleanse you with a thorough cleansing. (33/34) And repeat (remember) what is recited in your houses of the Verses of Allah and the wisdom. Surely Allah is All-Subtle (Knower of subtleties), All-Aware. (33/35) Surely the men who submit (to Allah) and the women who submit (to Allah) and the believing men and the believing women, the obedient men (devoted to Allah with reverence) and the obedient women (devoted to Allah with reverence), the loyal men and the loyal women, and the patient men and the patient women, the humble men (in reverence to Allah) and the humble women (in reverence to Allah), and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women and the fasting men and the fasting women and the men who guard their chastity from illegal sexual acts and the women who guard their chastity from illegal sexual acts, and the men who remember (repeat the Name of) Allah much and the women who remember Allah much! Allah has prepared for them Forgiveness and a Great Reward. (33/36) And it is not for a believing man or a believing woman to have any choice in their affair when Allah and His Messenger have decided an affair for them. And whoever is rebellious (disobedient) to Allah and His Messenger, indeed strayed into a plain Misguidance. (33/37) And you had said to the person on whom Allah has bestowed Blessings and you have blessed as well: “Keep your wife (to yourself and do not divorce) and have piety towards Allah”. You were hiding in your soul (yourself) that which Allah will make manifest and you were afraid of the people. Allah has a better right that you should fear Him. So when Zaid had abscised his desire from her, We married her to you, so that there may be no difficulty to the believers in respect of (the marriage of) the wives of their adopted sons when the latter have no desire to keep them (they have divorced them). (So) Allah’s Command had been fulfilled. (33/38) There is no difficulty for the Prophet in (fulfilling) what Allah has ordained for him. That has been the Sunnetallah (Course of Allah). Allah’s command was a decreed destiny (that is fulfilled). (33/39) They (the Prophets) convey the Message of Allah and are in reverence towards Him, and do not fear any but Allah. And Allah is Sufficient as a Reckoner. (33/40) Muhammed is not the father of any of your men. But he is the (Resul) Messenger of Allah and the Seal (the Last) of the Nebis (Prophets). Allah is Ever All-Knower of all things. (33/41) O you who believe (who are Amenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are living)! Remember (repeat the Name of) Allah with much remembrance (more than half of the day). (33/42) And glorify Him morning and evening. (33/43) It is He Who sends (by means of the glorious light of) benedictions on you, and (along with) His angels, that He may bring you (your soul s heart) forth out of utter darkness into the enlightenment, and He is Most Merciful to the believers (He manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). (33/44) Their greeting (reward) on the Day when they shall meet Him is: “Peace” and an honorable (generous) reward have been prepared for them. (33/45) O Prophet! Surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a Warner. (33/46) And as one inviting to Allah by His Permission and as a (glorious) light-giving lamp. (33/47) And give glad tidings to the believers that there is great (glorious light of) Virtue from Allah for them. (33/48) And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and ignore (their) annoyances and put your trust in Allah. And Allah is Sufficient as a Surrogate (for you). (33/49) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive)! When you marry the believing women, then divorce them before you touch them, you have in their case no term. So give some provision to them (give their Mahr) and release them with a fair divorce. (33/50) O Prophet! Surely We have made permissible to you your wives to whom you have paid their Mahr and those (concubines) whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as bounty of war. And the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who migrated with you, and a believing woman who offered Her soul (herself) to the Prophet, and where the Prophet also wishes to marry her, (We made lawful) specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers. We know what We have obligated upon them (rest of the believers) about their wives and those (concubines) whom their right hands possess (this is) in order that there should be no difficulty on you. Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). (33/51) You may put off whom you please of them, and you may take to you whom you please. And there is no blame for you whom you desire of those (again) that you had released. This is most proper, so that their eyes may be cool (that they are happy), and they may not grieve, and they should be pleased, all of them, with what you have given them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts and Allah is Ever All-Knowing, Most Gentle. (33/52) After this, it is not lawful for you to change (with another woman) one of the (other) women or your wives even though their beauty pleases you, except those (concubines) whom your right hand possesses. And Allah is Watcher over all things. (33/53) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are living)! Do not enter the Prophet’s houses unless permission is given to you! (If you have entered them) do not wait (taking your time) for a meal to be prepared. But enter when you are invited. When you have eaten your food, disperse immediately and do not linger for conversation, nor keep with your conversation (talk without permission). Surely this was causing annoyance to the Prophet but he was feeling shy of you. Allah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. When you ask of them (the wives of the Prophet) anything, ask of them from behind a curtain. This is purer for your and their hearts. It cannot be (lawful) for you that you to annoy the Messenger of Allah and after this for you to marry his wives forever. Surely this is an enormous sin in the Sight of Allah. (33/54) Whether you divulge a thing or keep it hidden, surely Allah is Ever All-Knowing of all things. (33/55) There is no sin on them (the Prophet’s wives) to appear to their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their own women, or what their right hands possess (their slaves). Have piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is Ever All-Witness over everything. (33/56) Allah and His angels Salat to the Prophet. O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) Salat to him as well! And Salat to him submitted. (33/57) Surely (as for) those who annoy Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter and has prepared for them a humiliating torment. (33/58) And those who annoyed the believing men and the believing women without their having earned (undeservedly, while they did not commit any offense), they bore of slander and sin. (33/59) O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers (believing women) that they wrap themselves up in their over garments (cover themselves). This is more proper, that they may be known (that they are not female slaves but they are free and chaste women) and thus they will not be given annoyance and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (33/60) If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and those who spread false news among the people in the city do not desist, We shall most certainly let you attack them. Then they will not be (able to stay in it as) your neighbors but a little while. (33/61) The cursed ones (those who have undergone the curse); wherever they are found they shall be seized and killed violently (over and over). (33/62) This is (also) the Sunnatullah (the Law of Allah) with respect to those who passed away of old. And you can not find any change in the Sunnatullah of Allah. (33/63) People ask you of that Hour (the Day of Resurrection). Say: “The knowledge of it is with Allah only”. And it is not made known to you. It may be that the Hour is near. (33/64) Surely Allah has cursed the disbelievers. He has prepared for them a flaming Fire (Hell). (33/65) They are the ones to abide therein forever. They can not find a friend or a helper. (33/66) On the Day when their faces are turned over (from one side to another) in the Fire, they shall say: “O, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed the Messenger”! (33/67) And those who are in hell say: “Our Lord! We surely obeyed our notables (in religion) and our great ones (in administration) so we strayed away from Your Way (Sıratı Mustakîm)”. (33/68) Our Lord! Give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse! (33/69) O you who believe (who are Amenû)! Be not like those who persecuted Moses! And Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard in Allah’s Presence. (33/70) O you who believe (who are Amenû), be the owners of piety towards Allah and speak the right word. (33/71) (So) let Him improve your deeds (let Him change them into improving deeds) and forgive you your sins (let Him change them into merits) and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he indeed is saved with the greatest reward. (33/72) Surely We did offer the Trust (the Spirit) to the heavens and the earth and the mountains but shrank from bearing it and feared from it and human under-took it. Surely it (the soul) is very tyrant, very ignorant. (33/73) So that Allah may torment the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the associating men and the associating women and to accept the repentance of the believing men and the believing women. Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving (the One Who forgives, Who changes evil deeds into merits), Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful).

Saba
(34/1) Praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and to Him is due praise in the Hereafter. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware. (34/2) (Allah) knows whatever goes down into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful (the One Who sends the glorious light of Mercy), the Oft-Forgiving (the One who changes evil deeds into merits). (34/3) And those who disbelieve said: “The Hour (the Day of Resurrection) shall not come to us”. Say: “Nay, my Lord Who Knows the Unseen shall certainly bring that upon you. Not the weight of an atom (even) remains hidden from Him in the heavens and in the earth. Neither less than that nor greater, but all is in a Clear Book. (34/4) (The coming of the Hour is for) that He may reward those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing). These it is for whom is Forgiveness and an honorable (generously offered) sustenance. (34/5) And as for those who strive hard in defying Our Verses, these it is for whom is a torment of filthy agony! (34/6) And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that what is sent down to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides (delivers) to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Praised (Allah) (Sıratı Mustakîm). (34/7) And those who disbelieve said: “Shall we point out to you a man who informs you that, when you are scattered with the utmost scattering (when your body decayed after dying), you shall then be most surely created into a new creation”? (34/8) Has he slandered against Allah with a lie? Or is there madness in him? Nay, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in the Torment and in the Remote Misguidance. (34/9) Do they not see what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We make them sink in the earth, or cause a piece from the sky to fall upon them. Most surely there is a Sign (lesson) in this for every servant turned (to Allah by wishing to reach Him). (34/10) And certainly We gave David from Us a Virtue (We purified his soul). O mountains, turn to Me with him and o the birds (you too)! And We made the iron soft to him too. (34/11) Make long (wide) armors (that covers the body) and design it in form of knit (rings of chain), and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing through Dhikr)! Truly, I am All-Seer of what you do. (34/12) And the wind with a morning course that is a month’s journey and an evening course that is a month’s journey was for Solomon (given to his command). We caused the molten copper to flow out from its source for him. And of the jinn there were those who worked for him by the Permission of his Lord. Whosoever of them turn aside from Our Command, We made him taste of the torment of the blazing fire. (34/13) They were making for him what he willed of sanctuaries (palaces, masjids, tall buildings) and statues and basins as large as reservoirs and fixed cauldrons. O family of David work giving thanks! And very few of My servants are grateful. (34/14) When We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them but a termite that ate away his staff. Only when he fell down, it (his death) became clear to the jinn (then the jinn understood he was dead). If they had known the Unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment. (34/15) The two gardens on the right and on the left was indeed a Sign (lesson) for Saba (Sheba nation) in their dwelling-place. Eat of the sustenance of your Lord and give thanks to Him! (That is) a fair land. And (Allah is) an Oft-Forgiving Lord! (34/16) But they turned aside. So We sent upon them Arim flood, and We converted their two gardens into gardens producing bitter fruit, no fruit and a few of timbers. (34/17) Thus We punished them because of their denial. Do We punish any but the disbelievers? (34/18) And We made between them and the towns which We had blessed towns near each other, and We apportioned paths to journey therein. (We said) travel through them safely nights and days. (34/19) But they said: “Our Lord! Make spaces to be longer between our journeys” and they wronged themselves. So We made them as tales (narrated from generation to generation) and scattered them with an utter scattering. Most surely there are Signs (lessons) in this for every very patient, grateful one. (34/20) And certainly Iblis (Lucifer) did prove true his conjecture (he fulfilled his purpose). So they followed (depended on) him (Satan), all except a group of believers. (34/21) And he (Lucifer) had no authority (influence) over them that We may know him who believes in the Hereafter (in making his spirit reach Allah while he is living) from him who is in doubt concerning it (We tested them with Lucifer). And your Lord is the Preserver of all things. (34/22) Call upon those whom you assert (you consider as gods) besides Allah! They do not possess even a particle’s weight either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any partnership in either (in the heavens and in the earth), nor is there for Him (Allah) from among them any helper. (34/23) And intercession does not profit in His Presence except for him He permits. When fear is banished from their hearts, they said: “What is it that your Lord said”? They said: “The truth”. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (34/24) Say: “Who gives you the sustenance from the heavens and the earth”? Say: “Allah”. And most surely we or you are on Hidayet or in manifest Misguidance. (34/25) Say: “You will not be asked of the crimes we committed, nor shall we be questioned of what you did”. (34/26) Say: “Our Lord will gather us together, then will He open (judge) between us with the truth”. And He is the Fettah (the One who Judges with Righteousness), the All-Knowing. (34/27) Say: “Show Me those whom you have joined as associates” (the idols that you have associated with Allah). By no means. Nay (they cannot be associated with Allah)! He is Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (34/28) And We have not sent you except as a giver of glad tidings and a Warner to all mankind (in the universe), but most people do not know. (34/29) And they say: “When is this promise (the Day of Resurrection) if you are truthful”? (34/30) Say: “You cannot postpone the hour of the Day that is (appointed) for you for an hour nor put forward”. (34/31) And those who disbelieve said: “We never believe in this Qur’an or in that which in between his hands (in the Gospel). If you could see when the wrongdoers are arrested before their Lord. They exchange words amongst each other! Those who were put down say to those who were arrogant: “Had it not been for you, we would certainly have been believers”. (34/32) Those who were arrogant said to those who were put down: “Did we turn you away from the Hidayet after it had come to you”? Nay, you (yourselves) were sinners (guilty). (34/33) And those who were put down said to those who were arrogant: “Nay, (your job was) plotting by night and day. You were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and to set up equals to Him”. They conceal their regret when they see the torment. We put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Do they get punished with anything except what they used to do? (34/34) There is no place that We did not send a Warner. But those who led lives in ease (notables) of every country did not say anything but: “We are surely the disbelievers in what you are sent with”. (34/35) And they said: “We are more than you in wealth and children, and we shall not be tormented”. (34/36) Say: “Surely my Lord enlarges the sustenance for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills), but most people do not know”. (34/37) And your wealth or your children are not valuable enough to bring you to Our presence, except those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are living) and does improving deeds (does the soul’s cleansing). These it is for whom is a double reward for what they do, and they are the secure ones in high ranks. (34/38) And those who strive in rendering weak (invalid) Our Verses; they shall be present in the torment (for worse torment). (34/39) Say: “Surely my Lord enlarges the sustenance for whom He wills of His servants and straitens (for whom He wills), and whatsoever you spend for His sake, (then) He replaces it, and He is the Best of the providers. (34/40) And on that Day He will gather them all together, then He will say to the angels: “Were these who worshipped you”? (34/41) They (the angels) said: “Glory be to You! They are not our Friend but You. Nay! They were worshipping the jinn. Most of them are the believers in them (in what the jinn said)”. (34/42) So on that Day you will possess no use nor harm one for another. We will say to those who were unjust: “Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to deny (belie)”. (34/43) And when Our Verses were recited (read and explained) to them clearly, they said: “This is naught but a man who desires to turn you away from that which your fathers used to worship”. And they said: “This is nothing but a lie that is forged”. And those who disbelieved said of the truth when it came to them: “This is nothing but evident magic”. (34/44) And We have not given them any Books which they study, nor did We send to them before you a Warner (a Prophet who warns). (34/45) And those before them (denied) belied (too) and they have not (even) attained a tenth of what We gave them. Yet, they still denied (belied) Our Messengers. Then how was My denial (punishment)? (34/46) Say: “I sermon you only one thing. Rise up (stand up) for Allah in pairs and singly, then ponder (reflect)”. There is no madness in your owner (companion). He is only a Warner to you for the severe torment before you (that will come to you). (34/47) Say: “I did not ask any wage of you. Then let it (that wage) be yours. My wage (reward) is only with Allah and He is a Witness over all things”. (34/48) Say: “Verily my Lord brings (serves) the truth, the All-Knower of the (anything) Unseen. (34/49) Say: “The truth has come and it cannot either originate the false hood or bring (it) back”. (34/50) Say: “If I am in Misguidance, I am in Misguidance upon (because of) my own soul, and if I attain Hidayet, it is because of what my Lord reveals to me”. Surely, He is All-Hearing, Ever Near (to all things). (34/51) And if you see when they are terrified. Then there shall be no escape and they are seized upon from a near place (to hell). (34/52) And they said: We believe in Him”. How is the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place (to have Hidayet, from Misguidance)? (34/53) And they had disbelieved in it before, and they hurled empty (words) at the Unseen from a distance place (from Misguidance). (34/54) And a gulf (barrier) is set between them and that which they desired, as was done with the likes of them before. Surely they were in a worrying doubt.

(35/1) All praise is due to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Assigner of the angels as Rasuls (messengers) with two, three and four wings. He increases in Creation what He wills; surely He has Power over all things. (35/2) Whatever Allah opens (increases) to men of His Mercy, there is none to withhold it, and whatever He withholds there is none to send it forth (release) after that. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise (the Owner of Wisdom and Judgment). (35/3) O mankind! Call to mind (remember) the Blessing of Allah upon you. Is there a creator besides Allah who gives you sustenance from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He. How then are you being turned away (from the Faith)? (35/4) And if they belie (deny) you, so were the Messengers belied before you. To Allah are all commands (affairs) returned. (35/5) O mankind! Surely the Promise of Allah is true; therefore let not the life of the world deceive you. Let not the Deceivers deceive you with Allah (having you trust in His Forgiveness). (35/6) Surely the Satan is your enemy, so take him for an enemy. He only summons his faction (supporters) that they may be inmates of the blazing Fire (hell). (35/7) Those who disbelieve, for them will be a severe torment, and those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing); for them there is Forgiveness and a Great Reward. (35/8) What! Is he whose evil deed is made fair-seeming to him, so that he considers it as good? Verily, Allah leaves in Misguidance whom He wills and causes him whom He wills to have Hidayet. So let not your soul yearn (in grief) for them. Surely Allah is the All-Knower of what they do. (35/9) And Allah it is Who sends the winds, so raises the clouds. Then We drive it on to a dead land, so therewith We revive the earth after its death (with rain). Even so is the Nushûr (Resurrection and spreading again). (35/10) Whoever has desired might, then to Allah belongs the might wholly. To Him do ascend the good words. The improving deed (cleansing of the soul) lifts it up. Those who plot evil deeds, theirs will be a severe torment and their plot shall perish (will be wasted). (35/11) And Allah created you from dust, then of a little fluid, then He made you pairs (the male and the female). No female can bear (conceive) nor can she give birth, except with His Knowledge. No one whose life is lengthened has his life lengthened, nor is anything diminished of one’s life, aside from what it is in the Book. Surely this is easy to Allah. (35/12) And the two seas cannot be equal. This is delicious and sweet that subdues thirst by its excessive sweetness, pleasant to drink and this (other) is salty, bitter. Yet from each of them you eat fresh meat and bring forth ornaments which you wear (pearl, coral) and you see the ships cleave through it that you may seek of His Virtue. It is hoped that you may give thanks. (35/13) (Allah) causes the night to pass into the day and the day to pass into the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon to His command. Each one runs its course (rotates in its orbit) for an appointed term. This is Allah, your Lord. His is the Sovereignty. Those whom you call upon besides Him do not own even a Qitmir (the thin membrane of a date seed). (35/14) If you call on them, they shall not hear your call. Even if they could hear, they cannot answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating them. And none can bring you the likely of this (this news) (other than Allah). (35/15) O mankind! You are the poor ones who are in need of Allah, and Allah is He Who is the Self-Sufficient (All-Rich, free of all needs), the Praised One. (35/16) If He wills, He will remove (exterminate) you and bring a new creation (to replace you). (35/17) And this is not hard for Allah. (35/18) And no bearer of burdens (sinful) bears another’s burden (sin) and if one heavily laden calls another to (bear) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin. You warn only those who are in reverence towards their Lord in the Unseen (without seeing Him) and keep up the Prayer. And whoever cleanses himself (his soul), he purifies himself only for his own soul and to Allah is the return (through the soul’s cleansing, the spirit returns to Allah and reaches Allah). (35/19) And the blind and the seeing are not equal. (35/20) And nor the darkness and the light (are not equal either). (35/21) And nor the shade and the heat (are not equal either). (35/22) And neither are the living and the dead equal. Surely Allah makes whom He wills hear, and you cannot make those hear who are in the graves. (35/23) You are only a Warner. (35/24) Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a Warner. There is not a nation but a Warner has passed among them. (35/25) And if they are belying you, so did those before them indeed belied (their Messengers). Their Messengers brought to them clear arguments (plain proofs, miracles) and the Psalms (the Pages) and the enlightening Book. (35/26) Then I seized those who disbelieved. After this how was My denial (My being denied)? (35/27) Have you not seen that Allah sends down water from the sky? Then We brought forth therewith crops (fruits) of various colors. And among the mountains are paths, white and red, and black and intensely black? (35/28) And likewise of men, cattle, moving creatures, are of various colors. Those of His servants only who are the learned (scholars) are in reverence towards Allah. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving. (35/29) Surely those who recite the Book of Allah and keep up the Prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them secretly and openly, hope for a trade (gain) that will never perish. (35/30) Their wages (rewards) are paid back to them fully and (Allah) increases them out of His Virtue. Surely He is Oft-Forgiving, the One Who is thanked. (35/31) And that which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth confirming what is in their hands. Verily Allah is indeed All-Aware, and All-Seer of His servants. (35/32) Then We gave the Book as inheritance to those whom We chose from among Our servants. Then of them are those who wrong themselves (their own soul), and of them are those who are Muktesit (those who take the middle course). And of them are those who are foremost in deeds of goodness by Allah’s Permission. That that is a great Virtue! (35/33) (They) shall enter the Gardens of Eden. They shall wear therein bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein are silk. (35/34) And they say (said): “All praise is due to Allah, Who has made grief to depart from us, most surely our Lord is Oft-Forgiving, the One Who is thanked”. (35/35) That He, out of His Virtue, has lodged us in a dwelling, where exhaustion (due to hardship and hunger) will not touch us nor will boredom and weariness touch us. (35/36) And as for those who disbelieve (who do not wish to reach Allah before death), for them is the Fire of Hell. The Decision is not given for them so that they should die (according to this Decision), nor shall the torment thereof will be lightened to them. Even thus do We punish every ungrateful one. (35/37) And they cry for help therein: “Our Lord! Take us out; let us do improving deed other than those which we used to do”. Did We not grant you lives long enough, so that whosoever could deliberate to deliberate therein? And did not the Warner come to you? Therefore taste (the torment), because for the wrong-doers there is no helper. (35/38) Surely Allah is the All-Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the bosoms. (35/39) He it is Who has made you vicegerents in the earth. Therefore whoever disbelieves, his disbelief is against him. Their disbelief does not increase the disbelievers with their Lord in anything except abhorrence and their disbelief does not increase the disbelievers in anything except loss. (35/40) Say: “Have you seen your associates which you worshipped besides Allah? Show me! What did they create from the earth? Or have they any partners in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book so that they are on a clear proof thereof? Nay, the wrongdoers do not hold out promises one to another but only to deceive”. (35/41) Verily Allah upholds the heavens and the earth lest they come to nothing. If they were both to disappear from their places, there is none who could uphold them (the heavens and the earth) after Him. Surely He is Ever Most Gentle, Oft-Forgiving. (35/42) And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that, if a Warner came to them, they would be in Hidayet more than any of the nations. But when a Warner came to them, it increased in nothing but hatred. (35/43) They behaved arrogantly in the land and plotted evil. Yet the evil plot besets (reaches) none but only him who makes it. Then, are they waiting for anything except the Sunnah (Way of Dealing, Practice, Rule, Law) of the former people? Yet you cannot find any alteration in the Sunnah of Allah and you cannot find any change in the Sunnah of Allah. (35/44) Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them? And they were stronger than these in power? There is nothing in the heavens or in the earth that can render Allah incapable. Surely He is All-Knowing, All-Omnipotent. (35/45) And were Allah to interrogate mankind by that which they earned, He would not leave on top of it (the earth) any moving (living) creature. And but He respites them to an appointed term. But when their term comes (questions them). Surely Allah is Ever All-Seeing of His servants.

Ya Sin
(36/1) Ya, Sin. (36/2) By the wise Qur’an (full of Wisdom and Judgment). (36/3) Truly you are of the sent Messengers. (36/4) (You are) on Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (36/5) Sent down by Allah Who is All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (36/6) That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned. Because they are heedless. (36/7) Certainly the Word (of Allah) has proved true over most of them. They no longer believe (they do not wish to reach Allah while they are living). (36/8) Surely We have put on their necks chains that reach up to their chins. Therefore they are the ones whose heads are raised aloft. (36/9) And We have covered them putting a barrier before and after them. They no longer see. (36/10) And it is equal for them whether you warn them or warn them not. They do not become âmenû (they do not wish to reach Allah before death). (36/11) You warn only him who follows the Reminder (Dhikr) and is in reverence towards the Most Beneficent in the Unseen (without seeing Him). Give him glad tidings of forgiveness (conversion of evil deeds into rewards) and the greatest reward. (36/12) Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have presented and their works and We have recorded everything in Imam-ı Mubin (the Clear Guide). (36/13) And give them the example of the dwellers of the city. The Messengers had come to them. (36/14) We had sent to them two (Messengers), but they belied (denied) them both. Then We reinforced (them) with a third (Messenger). Then they said: “Surely we are the sent Messengers to you”. (36/15) They said: “You are only human beings like us, and the Most Beneficent has not sent down anything, you only lie”. (36/16) (The Messengers) said: “Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you as Messengers”. (36/17) And there is no responsibility upon us but a plain conveyance (of the Message). (36/18) They said: “Surely we endured bad luck from you. If you do not desist, we will certainly stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us”. (36/19) They said: “Your bad luck is with you (your bad luck is from yourselves). (Do you endure bad luck) because you are reminded of the Dhikr (the truth)? Nay, you are an extravagant people (that crossed the line). (36/20) And from the farthest part of the city there came a man running. He said: “O my people, follow (depend on) the Messengers that are sent (to you)”. (36/21) Follow (depend on) to (those) who do ask no wages (for their conveyance) and they are the (Mahdis) guides (those who have reached Hidayet and make others to reach Hidayet). (36/22) And why should I not become a servant to Whom created me; to Him you shall be brought back! (36/23) Do I take besides Him gods? If the Most Beneficent intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me. (36/24) If that was the case (if I worshipped idols), truly I certainly would be in plain Misguidance. (36/25) Indeed I have believed in your Lord, so hear me. (36/26) It was said (to him): “Enter heaven”! He said: “I wish my people had known”. (36/27) Therefore (had they known) my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones!
