وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ

سورة يوسف
(12/109) We did not send before you any but men from the people of the towns, to whom We revealed. Do they not travel through the earth? They now should look! What was the end of those before them? And certainly the Abode of the Hereafter is best for those who are the owners of piety. Do you not then understand?
