وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَامًا وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى

سورة طه
(20/129) And if there had not been Word already gone forth from your Lord and an appointed term, it (a punishment) would surely have been necessary to them.
