وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلاَتُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

سورة الرّعد
(13/6) And they ask you to hasten on the bad before the good and indeed there have been many exemplary punishments before them. And most surely your Lord is the Owner of forgiveness in spite of all their wrong-doing and most surely your Lord is Severe in requiting.
