سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ

(5/42) Those who listen just to lie, devourers of what is forbidden; if they come to you (by not being pleased with the decree of the Torah) judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, they shall not harm you in any way. And if you judge, judge between them with equity. Surely Allah loves those who judge equitably.
