حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَوَجَدَ عِندَهَا قَوْمًا قُلْنَا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّا أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَإِمَّا أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ حُسْنًا

سورة الكهف
(18/86) When he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of murky water, and found by it a people. We said: “O Dhû’l-Qarnain! Either you torment them, or treat them with kindness”.
