وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ فِي القُرْآنِ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ طُغْيَانًا كَبِيرًا

سورة الإسراء
(17/60) We have told you that your Lord encompasses mankind (with His Mercy and Knowledge). We did not make the Vision which We showed you (with your heart’s eye) but a mischief (trial) for mankind and the cursed tree (the tree of Rosebay) in the Qur’ân as well. And We are scaring them. But this only adds to their great transgressions (sins).
