وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَى سَوَاء إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الخَائِنِينَ

سورة الأنفال
(8/58) If you fear treachery (of covenant) on the part of a people, then throw back to them (cancel their covenant) on terms of equality. Surely Allah does not love the treacherous.
