وَإِذَا جَاءكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ أَنَّهُ مَن عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

سورة الأنعام
(6/54) When those who believe in Our Verses come to you, say: “Peace be on you”. Your Lord has written Mercy on Himself. So that if any one of you does evil in ignorance, then repents (before his religious guide-Murshid) and improves (does the soul’s cleansing), then He (Allah) is Oft-Forgiving, (the One who converts evil deeds into merits), Most Merciful (the One who sends down the light of mercy).
