فَلَوْلا إِذْ جَاءهُمْ بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُواْ وَلَكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

(6/43) Yet would it not be better if they implored with humility when Our affliction came to them? But their hearts hardened. Satan embellished to them that which they used to do.
