لاَّ يُحِبُّ اللّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوَءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلاَّ مَن ظُلِمَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا ﴿١٤٨﴾ إِن تُبْدُواْ خَيْرًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ أَوْ تَعْفُواْ عَن سُوَءٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا قَدِيرًا ﴿١٤٩﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ اللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيقُولُونَ نُؤْمِنُ بِبَعْضٍ وَنَكْفُرُ بِبَعْضٍ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَّخِذُواْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً ﴿١٥٠﴾ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقًّا وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا ﴿١٥١﴾ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ سَوْفَ يُؤْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ﴿١٥٢﴾ يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَن تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاء فَقَدْ سَأَلُواْ مُوسَى أَكْبَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَقَالُواْ أَرِنَا اللّهِ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ بِظُلْمِهِمْ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُواْ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَعَفَوْنَا عَن ذَلِكَ وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا ﴿١٥٣﴾ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لاَ تَعْدُواْ فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا ﴿١٥٤﴾ فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بَآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الأَنْبِيَاء بِغَيْرِ حَقًّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً ﴿١٥٥﴾ وَبِكُفْرِهِمْ وَقَوْلِهِمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا ﴿١٥٦﴾ وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاَّ اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا ﴿١٥٧﴾ بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا ﴿١٥٨﴾ وَإِن مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلاَّ لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا ﴿١٥٩﴾ فَبِظُلْمٍ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَاتٍ أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ كَثِيرًا ﴿١٦٠﴾ وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا ﴿١٦١﴾ لَّكِنِ الرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَالْمُقِيمِينَ الصَّلاَةَ وَالْمُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أُوْلَئِكَ سَنُؤْتِيهِمْ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ﴿١٦٢﴾ إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإْسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَى وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا ﴿١٦٣﴾ وَرُسُلاً قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَرُسُلاً لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ وَكَلَّمَ اللّهُ مُوسَى تَكْلِيمًا ﴿١٦٤﴾ رُّسُلاً مُّبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللّهِ حُجَّةٌ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا ﴿١٦٥﴾ لَّكِنِ اللّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكَ أَنزَلَهُ بِعِلْمِهِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا ﴿١٦٦﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا ﴿١٦٧﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَظَلَمُواْ لَمْ يَكُنِ اللّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلاَ لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ طَرِيقاً ﴿١٦٨﴾ إِلاَّ طَرِيقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللّهِ يَسِيرًا ﴿١٦٩﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءكُمُ الرَّسُولُ بِالْحَقِّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَآمِنُواْ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ وَإِن تَكْفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ﴿١٧٠﴾ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقِّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ ثَلاَثَةٌ انتَهُواْ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ إِنَّمَا اللّهُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً ﴿١٧١﴾ لَّن يَسْتَنكِفَ الْمَسِيحُ أَن يَكُونَ عَبْداً لِّلّهِ وَلاَ الْمَلآئِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ وَمَن يَسْتَنكِفْ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيَسْتَكْبِرْ فَسَيَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَيهِ جَمِيعًا ﴿١٧٢﴾ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْتَنكَفُواْ وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلُيمًا وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا ﴿١٧٣﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءكُم بُرْهَانٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُّبِينًا ﴿١٧٤﴾ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَاعْتَصَمُواْ بِهِ فَسَيُدْخِلُهُمْ فِي رَحْمَةٍ مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَيْهِ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا ﴿١٧٥﴾ يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانُواْ إِخْوَةً رِّجَالاً وَنِسَاء فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ أَن تَضِلُّواْ وَاللّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿١٧٦﴾
(4/148) Allah does not love the public utterance of hurtful speech except by one who has been wronged. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (4/149) If you reveal good or conceal it or pardon an offense, then surely Allah is Oft-Pardoning, All-Powerful. (4/150) Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and wish to make distinction between Allah and His Messengers. And say: “We believe in some and reject others. And wish to take a way in between (belief and disbelief)”. (4/151) Those are the true disbelievers, and We have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment. (4/152) And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and do not make a distinction between any of them. Their rewards will be given to them soon; and Allah is Oft-Forgiving (the One who changes sins into merits) and the Most Merciful (manifests Himself with His Merciful attribute). (4/153) The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. Yet indeed they demanded from Moses a greater thing than that, when they said: “Show us Allah outright”. The thunderbolt overtook (destroyed) them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf (for a god) after clear arguments (miracles) had come to them; but We still pardoned them; and We gave Moses a clear authority (Sultan). (4/154) And We lifted over them the Tur (Mount Sinai) for their covenant and We said to them: “Enter through this gate prostrating”. And We said to them: “Do not exceed the limits of the Saturday (Sabbath)” and We took from them a firm covenant. (4/155) This is because of their breaking their covenant and their disbelief in the Verses of Allah and their killing the Prophets wrongfully and their saying: our hearts are covered. Nay! Allah set a seal upon them (their hearts) for their disbelief, so they shall (can) not believe except a few. (4/156) And their disbelief and saying against Mary is a tremendous calumny. (4/157) And their saying: “Surely we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah (is a tremendous calumny)”. And they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but he (the man who was killed) appeared to them like him (Mary’s son Messiah Jesus) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except a conjecture; and they did (could) not kill him for sure. (4/158) Nay! Allah raised him up to Himself and Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (4/159) And nevertheless the People of the Book (Jews who denied him and Christians who claims him to be Allah’s son) will most certainly believe in him before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection, he shall be a witness against them. (4/160) Because of the Jews’ tormenting and keeping others from the way of Allah, We made unlawful for them certain good and clean things which were made lawful to them. (4/161) This is because of their taking usury (Ribâ) though they were forbidden it and their consuming the property of the men falsely; and We have prepared for the disbelievers from among them a painful torment. (4/162) But those of them who are well-grounded in knowledge and the believers, believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you. And those who keep up the prayer and those who give alms (Az-Zakât), the believers in Allah and the Last Day, these it is whom We will give a Mighty Reward. (4/163) Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Noah (Nûh) and the Prophets after him; and We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac (Ishâq), Jacob (Ya’kûb) and his offspring, Jesus, Job (Ayyûb), Jonah (Yûnus), Aaron (Hârûn) and Solomon (Sulaimân). And to David (Dâwûd) We gave the Zabûr (Psalms). (4/164) And We also revealed to Messengers We have mentioned to you before and Messengers We have not mentioned to you. And to Moses (Mûsâ) Allah addressed His word, speaking (to him). (4/165) (They are) the Messengers as bearers of good news and as warners so that mankind should have no argument against Allah after the Messengers; and Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. (4/166) But Allah bears witness by what He has sent down unto you (Qur’an) with His Knowledge. And the angels bear witness too. And Allah is sufficient as a Witness. (4/167) Surely those who disbelieve and hinder (cause others astray) from the Way of Allah, they indeed have strayed off into a remote Misguidance (as they have not reached their own religious guides). (4/168) Surely those who disbelieve and do wrong (who hinder others from finding their religious guides and cause them to deviate from Allah’s Way) Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to the path (Sıratı Mustakîm that delivers to Allah). (4/169) Only (delivers) to the path of Hell, to abide in it forever, and this is easy to Allah. (4/170) O mankind! Surely the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, therefore believe (become âmenû, wish to render your spirits back to Allah before death), (this is) good for you; and even if you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and in the earth is Allah’s; and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (4/171) O People of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion and do not speak (lies) against Allah but (speak) the truth; the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary is only a Messenger of Allah and His Word. (Holy Spirit) conveyed that to Mary and he is a spirit (from Holy Spirit); believe therefore in Allah and His Messengers, and do not say: “Three (gods; the father, the son and the Holy Spirit) desist, it is better for you”. Allah is only one Deity. Exalt Him above having a son; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; and Allah is All-Sufficient as a Surrogate. (4/172) The Messiah never abstains from being a servant of Allah nor do the angels who are near to Him. And whoever abstains and disdains becoming a servant to Him, He will gather them altogether to Himself. (4/173) Then as for those who believe (who become âmenû, who wish to render their spirits back to Allah before death) and do ameliorating deeds (cleansing of their souls’ hearts), He will pay them fully their rewards; and increases for them from His Virtue; and those who abstain and disdain, will be tormented with a painful torment. And they shall not find for them, besides Allah a protecting friend and a helper. (4/174) O mankind! Surely there has come to you a manifest proof from your Lord and We have sent to you a manifest Glory. (4/175) Then as for those who believe (who become âmenû, who wish to render their spirits back to Allah before death) and hold fast to Him, He will cause them to enter into His (glory of) Mercy and Virtue and guide them to Sıratı Mustakîm a Path that delivers to Himself. (4/176) They ask you for a legal ruling. Say: “Allah gives you a decision concerning the kelâle (person who has neither parents nor children). If it is a man that dies leaving a sister, but no child, she shall have half of what he leaves. And he shall be her heir if she has no son. If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves; and if there are many brothers and sisters, the male will have twice the share of the female. Allah makes it clear to you lest you get lost. Allah is All-Knowing of all things”.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَوْفُواْ بِالْعُقُودِ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ الأَنْعَامِ إِلاَّ مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ ﴿١﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تُحِلُّواْ شَعَآئِرَ اللّهِ وَلاَ الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلاَ الْهَدْيَ وَلاَ الْقَلآئِدَ وَلا آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانًا وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَاصْطَادُواْ وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُواْ وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الْبرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ ﴿٢﴾ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالْدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلاَّ مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُواْ بِالأَزْلاَمِ ذَلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإِسْلاَمَ دِينًا فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّإِثْمٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٣﴾ يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّهُ فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ ﴿٤﴾ الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلُّ لَّهُمْ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ﴿٥﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ فاغْسِلُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُواْ بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَينِ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُواْ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاء أَحَدٌ مَّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لاَمَسْتُمُ النِّسَاء فَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ مَاء فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُواْ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهَّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿٦﴾ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَاقَهُ الَّذِي وَاثَقَكُم بِهِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ ﴿٧﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ لِلّهِ شُهَدَاء بِالْقِسْطِ وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُواْ اعْدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٨﴾ وَعَدَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿٩﴾ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ ﴿١٠﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ أَن يَبْسُطُواْ إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١١﴾ وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَآمَنتُم بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ ﴿١٢﴾ فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ لَعنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَةً يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَنَسُواْ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ وَلاَ تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىَ خَآئِنَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمُ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿١٣﴾ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُواْ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاء إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّهُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ ﴿١٤﴾ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ قَدْ جَاءكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿١٥﴾ يَهْدِي بِهِ اللّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنِ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿١٦﴾ لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَآلُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ مِنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُهْلِكَ الْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ وَمَن فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاء وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿١٧﴾ وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاء اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاء وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ ﴿١٨﴾ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَى فَتْرَةٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا جَاءنَا مِن بَشِيرٍ وَلاَ نَذِيرٍ فَقَدْ جَاءكُم بَشِيرٌ وَنَذِيرٌ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿١٩﴾ وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنبِيَاء وَجَعَلَكُم مُّلُوكًا وَآتَاكُم مَّا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِّن الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٢٠﴾ يَا قَوْمِ ادْخُلُوا الأَرْضَ المُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَلاَ تَرْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ ﴿٢١﴾ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىَ يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾ قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُواْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُواْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٢٣﴾ قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى إِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا أَبَدًا مَّا دَامُواْ فِيهَا فَاذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ ﴿٢٤﴾ قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لا أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ ﴿٢٥﴾ قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً يَتِيهُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ ﴿٢٦﴾ وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِن أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٢٧﴾ لَئِن بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِي مَا أَنَاْ بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِيَ إِلَيْكَ لَأَقْتُلَكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوءَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ وَذَلِكَ جَزَاء الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿٢٩﴾ فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُ نَفْسُهُ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ﴿٣٠﴾ فَبَعَثَ اللّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِي الأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِي سَوْءةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْءةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّادِمِينَ ﴿٣١﴾ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاء تْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ ﴿٣٢﴾ إِنَّمَا جَزَاء الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُواْ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُواْ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلافٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْاْ مِنَ الأَرْضِ ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْيٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿٣٣﴾ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَقْدِرُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٣٤﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَابْتَغُواْ إِلَيهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَاهِدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفْتَدُواْ بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿٣٦﴾ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ ﴿٣٧﴾ وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُواْ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاء بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالاً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿٣٨﴾ فَمَن تَابَ مِن بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٣٩﴾ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاء وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿٤٠﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لاَ يَحْزُنكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِن قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هِادُواْ سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُواْ وَمَن يُرِدِ اللّهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَن تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللّهِ شَيْئًا أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿٤١﴾ سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآؤُوكَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ ﴿٤٢﴾ وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ التَّوْرَاةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أُوْلَئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٤٣﴾ إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُواْ مِن كِتَابِ اللّهِ وَكَانُواْ عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاء فَلاَ تَخْشَوُاْ النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾ وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالأَنفَ بِالأَنفِ وَالأُذُنَ بِالأُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاصٌ فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهُ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ ﴿٤٥﴾ وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِعَيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾ وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ الإِنجِيلِ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فِيهِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ ﴿٤٧﴾ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجًا وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَآ آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى الله مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾ وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ ﴿٤٩﴾ أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿٥١﴾ فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَى أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَآئِرَةٌ فَعَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُواْ عَلَى مَا أَسَرُّواْ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ ﴿٥٢﴾ وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَهَؤُلاء الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُواْ بِاللّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُواْ خَاسِرِينَ ﴿٥٣﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَلاَ يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لآئِمٍ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاء وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿٥٤﴾ إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ رَاكِعُونَ ﴿٥٥﴾ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَإِنَّ حِزْبَ اللّهِ هُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاء وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٥٧﴾ وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ اتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿٥٨﴾ قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ هَلْ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَاسِقُونَ ﴿٥٩﴾ قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ ﴿٦٠﴾ وَإِذَا جَآؤُوكُمْ قَالُوَاْ آمَنَّا وَقَد دَّخَلُواْ بِالْكُفْرِ وَهُمْ قَدْ خَرَجُواْ بِهِ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْتُمُونَ ﴿٦١﴾ وَتَرَى كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٦٢﴾ لَوْلاَ يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ عَن قَوْلِهِمُ الإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ ﴿٦٣﴾ وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُواْ بِمَا قَالُواْ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاء وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاء إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُواْ نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿٦٤﴾ وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَوْاْ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلأدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ ﴿٦٥﴾ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُواْ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ لأكَلُواْ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِم مِّنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُّقْتَصِدَةٌ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ سَاء مَا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٦٦﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُ وَاللّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿٦٧﴾ قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ حَتَّىَ تُقِيمُواْ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿٦٨﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَالَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالصَّابِؤُونَ وَالنَّصَارَى مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ ﴿٦٩﴾ لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلاً كُلَّمَا جَاءهُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ ﴿٧٠﴾ وَحَسِبُواْ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٧١﴾ لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَقَالَ الْمَسِيحُ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللّهُ عَلَيهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ ﴿٧٢﴾ لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلاَثَةٍ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِلاَّ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِن لَّمْ يَنتَهُواْ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿٧٣﴾ أَفَلاَ يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللّهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٧٤﴾ مَّا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا يَأْكُلاَنِ الطَّعَامَ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ ﴿٧٥﴾ قُلْ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا وَاللّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ﴿٧٦﴾ قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ أَهْوَاء قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرًا وَضَلُّواْ عَن سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ ﴿٧٧﴾ لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ ﴿٧٨﴾ كَانُواْ لاَ يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَن مُّنكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ ﴿٧٩﴾ تَرَى كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَن سَخِطَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ ﴿٨٠﴾ وَلَوْ كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالله والنَّبِيِّ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء وَلَكِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ ﴿٨١﴾ لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ الَّذِينَ قَالُوَاْ إِنَّا نَصَارَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿٨٢﴾

(5/1) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah and submit to Him)! Fulfill the contracts (you have). Lawful to you all the cattle quadrupeds except that which is announced to you although it is not considered as lawful to hunt while you are putting on the pilgrim’s garb; surely Allah orders what He wills. (5/2) O you who believe (who become âmenû, who wish to reach Allah and submit to Him)! Do not behave disrespectful to the decrees of Canon Law established by Allah nor to the Sacred Month, nor the animals brought (sent to Ka’ba as gifts) for sacrifice nor the sacrificial camels with garlands, nor to the security of those coming to the Sacred House seeking the Virtue from their Lord and His pleasure; but when you get out of the Ihrâm, you may hunt; and let not hatred of a people-because they hindered you from the Sacred Mosque-incite you to exceed the limits; and help one another in Birr and piety (takwâ), and do not help one another in sin and enmity and have piety towards Allah; surely Allah is Severe in punishment. (5/3) Forbidden to you (for food) is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and that which has been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by the goring of horns-and that which has been eaten by a wild animal-unless you are able to slaughter it (before its death) –and that which is slaughtered for idols and that you settle matters with fortune-arrows; (all) that is a Fisk. This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion as they could not turn you back of it, so do not fear them, and fear Me. This day, I have perfected for you your religion and completed My Blessing on you. And have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is compelled (to eat) by severe hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5/4) They ask you what is lawful for them. Say: “Good and clean things are made lawful for you, and what you have taught the beasts and birds of prey, training them to hunt by teaching them of what Allah has taught you-so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah’s Name over it, and have piety towards Allah; surely Allah is Swift in reckoning. (5/5) This day the good and clean things are made lawful for you. And the food of those who have been given the Book is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And the chaste from among the believing free women and the chaste from among those who have been given the Book before you are lawful for you when you have given them their marriage portion, taking them in marriage, not fornicating nor taking secret lovers. And whoever denies the Faith, his work indeed is vain, and in the Hereafter he shall be one of the losers. (5/6) O you who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah and submit to Him in this lifetime)! When you rise up for the Prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and your feet up to the ankles. And if you are under an obligation to perform a total ablution (if you are canonically unclean from sexual act) then wash your whole body. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you come from the privy or you have touched women, and you cannot find water, then go to clean earth and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah does not want to put on you any difficulty, but He wants to purify you and to complete His Blessing upon you. Hoped that you may be grateful. (5/7) And remember the Blessing of Allah upon you and His Covenant with which He bound you firmly, when you said: “We have heard and obeyed”. And have piety (Takwâ) towards Allah, surely Allah is All-Knowing of what is in the breasts (bosom). (5/8) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah and submit to Him)! Be upright (maintain the truth) for Allah. Be the bearers of witness with justice. And let not resentment towards people incite you not to act justly. Act equitably, that is nearer to Piety (Takwâ), and have piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (5/9) Allah has promised those who believe (who wish to reach Allah and submit to Him) and do improving deeds (cleansing and purifying the souls’ hearts) that they shall have forgiveness and a Mighty Reward (Ecrun Azîm). (5/10) And those who disbelieve and deny our Verses, they are the companions of the Flame (Hell-fire). (5/11) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death and submit to Him)! Remember Allah’s Blessing upon you; when a people had determined to stretch forth their hands towards you, but (Allah) held back their hands from you. And have piety (Takwa) towards Allah (submit your spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah) and in Allah let the believers put their trust. (5/12) Indeed Allah took the covenant from the Children of Israel. And We raised up from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said: “I am with you if you keep up the prayer, and give alms (Zakât), and believe in My Messengers and assist them, and lend to Allah a goodly loan, I will most certainly cover your sins and I will most certainly cause you to enter into Heavens under which the rivers flow”. But whoever disbelieves from among you after this has gone astray from the designed Way (that leads to Allah). (5/13) So because of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and their hearts (completely dark). They altered the words from their places. And forgot their portion of what they were reminded of. And you experience deceit among them, except a few of them. So pardon and tolerate them. Surely Allah loves the Muhsin ones. (5/14) And from those who say: surely, we are Christians, We took their covenant, but they forgot their portion of what they were reminded of. Therefore We excited among them enmity, grudge and hatred till the Day of Resurrection. Allah will inform them of what they used to do. (5/15) O People of the Book! Indeed our Messenger has come to you making clear to you much of what you concealed of the Book and much of what you gave up. Indeed there has come to you from Allah a Glory and a clear Book. (5/16) Allah guides with him (with His Messenger) all who seek His Pleasure to the Ways of Surrender. And brings them out of utter darkness into the light (from torment to glory) with His Permission and guides them to Sırât-ı Mustakîm (the Path directed towards Allah). (5/17) They indeed became a disbeliever who says: “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary”. Who then has the least power against Allah if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother and all those who are on the earth together? And Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He creates what He wills. And Allah is Omnipotent. (5/18) And the Jews and the Christians said: “We are the sons of Allah and His beloved ones”. Say: “Why does He then torment you for your sins”? Nay, you are human beings from among those whom He has created; He forgives whom He wills and torments whom He wills. And Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. And to Him is the arrival (place to reach is His presence). (5/19) O People of the Book! Indeed Our Messenger has come to you explaining the truth to you after a cessation of the Messengers (Prophets). Lest you say: “There did not come to us a giver of good news and a Warner”. Yet indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a Warner. And Allah is Omnipotent. (5/20) And Moses said to his people: O my people! Remember the Blessing of Allah upon you, His raising Prophets among you and making you kings and giving you what He had not given to any other among the worlds. (5/21) O my people! Go into the holy land which Allah has ordained for you and do not turn on your backs (run away from enemy). Then you would turn into the state of the losers. (5/22) They said: “O Moses! Surely there is a tyrannical nation in there. Never shall we enter it until they go out from it. If they go out from it, then surely we will enter”. (5/23) Two men of those who feared, upon both of them Allah had bestowed a Blessing, said: “Enter upon them by the gate, for when you have entered it you shall be victorious. And put your trust in Allah if you are believers indeed”. (5/24) (They) said: “O Moses! We shall never ever enter it so long as they are in it. Go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both; surely we will sit down here”. (5/25) (Moses) He said: “My Lord! Indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother; therefore make a separation between us and the nation of transgressors (Fâsiqûn=those who are not in the Way of Allah or have gone out of it)”. (5/26) Allah said: “So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years. They shall wander about in the land. Therefore do not grieve for the nation of Fâsiqûn (transgressors)”. (5/27) And read to them the story of the two sons of Adam with truth, when they both offered a sacrifice, but (the sacrifice) was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other. (The one whose sacrifice was not accepted) said: “I will most certainly kill you”. He said: “Allah only accepts from those who have piety (takwâ)”. (5/28) If you do stretch forth your hand against me to kill me, I am not one to stretch forth my hand against you to kill you. Surely I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds. (5/29) Indeed I want you to obtain my sin and your sin, so you would be of the inmates of the Fire. And this is the punishment of the wrongdoers. (5/30) Thereupon his soul encouraged (made him perceive murder to be easy and fun) him the murder of his brother. He murdered him and became one of the losers. (5/31) Then Allah sent a crow scratching up the ground so that he might show him how he should cover the dead body of his brother. He said: “Woe to me! Am I not even able to be as this crow and burry the dead body of my brother”? And so he became of those who regretted. (5/32) For this reason did we write to the Children of Israel (In Torah) that whoever kills a human being for other than manslaughter or for mischief in the earth, it is as though he had killed all mankind. And whoever saves the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. And certainly Our Messengers came to them with the clear proofs. But even after that many of them certainly spent extravagantly in the earth. (5/33) The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to make mischief in the earth is to be murdered or hanged, or their hands and their feet to be cut off on opposite sides or to be exiled from where they are. This is their disgrace in this world. And for them there is in the Hereafter a great torment. (5/34) Except for those who repent before you (win against them and) apprehend them. So know that Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5/35) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah and to submit to Him)! Have piety towards Allah and seek the Means that will make you reach Him. And strive hard in His Way that you may have salvation. (5/36) Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them. And for them there shall be a painful torment. (5/37) They will wish to get out of the Fire, and they will not go forth from it. And for them there will be a lasting torment. (5/38) And the thief, the male and female, cut off their hands as a recompense for what they have done, as a punishment from Allah. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (5/39) But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and amends, then surely Allah will accept his repentance. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5/40) Do you not know that to Allah Alone belongs the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He torments whom He wills and He forgives whom He wills. And Allah has Power over all things. (5/41) O Messenger! Let not those who vie with one another in the race to disbelief grieve you, of such who say: “We believe with their mouths and their hearts do not believe”. And some of those Jews who listen to you, are the listeners to lie to another people who have not come to you. They alter the words from their places, saying: “If you are given this, take it, and if you are not given this, then beware”! And as for him whom Allah wills that he should remain into Al-Fitnah (temptation, discord) you cannot stop for him anything from Allah. Those are they for whom Allah does not want that He should purify their hearts. For them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment. (5/42) Those who listen just to lie, devourers of what is forbidden; if they come to you (by not being pleased with the decree of the Torah) judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them, they shall not harm you in any way. And if you judge, judge between them with equity. Surely Allah loves those who judge equitably. (5/43) And how do they make you a judge while there is Torah with them, in which is Allah’s Judgment? Yet they turn back from that (your judgment). And they are not believers. (5/44) Verily, We did send down the Torah in which is Guidance and Light. With it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah) judge those who are Jews. And those Rabbâniyyûn (who have dedicated themselves to their Lord), and the Ahbâr (Jewish scholars, rabbis) judged with what they are charged to guard from Allah’s Book, and they became witnesses upon it. Therefore do not fear the mankind and fear Me, and do not sell My Verses for a small price. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down, such are the disbelievers. (5/45) And We prescribed to them in it that (Torah) life for a life, and eye for an eye, and nose for a nose, and ear for an ear and tooth for a tooth, and reprisal in wounds. But he who forgives it (remits the retaliation); it shall be expiation for him (for his sins). And whoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down, such are the wrongdoers. (5/46) And We sent after them in their footsteps Jesus, son of Mary, confirming what was before him of the Torah. And We gave him the Gospel in which is Guidance and Light, and confirming what was before it of the Torah and a guidance and an admonishment for those who have piety (takwâ). (5/47) And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has sent down in it. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down such are the Fâsiqûn. (5/48) And We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, confirming what is before it of the Book and a protector over it. Therefore judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their vain desires diverging away from that which has come to you from the Truth (Hakk). For every one of you (you all) did We appoint a (single) Shariah (Divine Law) and a clear way. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation. But this is to test you in what He has given you. So vie with one another in good deeds. To Allah is your return all together. And He will then inform you of that in which you differed. (5/49) And judge between them by what Allah has sent down; do not follow their vain desires. And be cautious of them, lest they cause you to fall into Fitnah from part of what Allah has sent down to you. But if they turn back (from the Truth), then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their sins. And most surely many of the mankind are the Fâsiqûn. (5/50) Then is it the judgment of the time of ignorance they desire? And who is better than Allah to judge for a people who are the owners of certainty (yaqîn). (5/51) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are the friends of each other. And whoever amongst you turns to them (takes them for a friend), then surely he is one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (5/52) And you see those in whose hearts there is a disease, hastening towards them, saying: “We are afraid a misfortune may strike us”. But it may be that Allah will bring a conquest or a commandment from His Presence, so that they shall be regretting for what they have been keeping as a secret in them. (5/53) And those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death and submit to Allah) say: “Are these they who swore by Allah with the most binding of their oaths that they were most surely with you”? Their deeds have been wasted and they have become the losers. (5/54) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah)! Whoever from among you turns back from his Religion, then Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble towards the believers, stern (mighty) against the disbelievers. They strive hard in Allah’s Way and never fear the blame of the blamers. This is Allah’s Virtue. He gives it to whom He wills, and Allah is All-Giving, All-Knowing. (5/55) Your Friend (Walî) is none but Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed, those who keep up the Prayer and pay the alms (Zakât), and they bow down. (5/56) And those who turn towards Allah and His Messenger and those who believe are surely the Party of Allah and they shall be triumphant. (5/57) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah)! Do not take for friends those who take your religion for a mockery and a joke, from among those who were given the Book before you and the disbelievers. And have piety towards Allah if you are believers. (5/58) And when you called to prayer, they made it a mockery and a joke. This is because they are a people who do not exercise their minds. (5/59) Say: “O people of the Book! Do you resent us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah and in what has been sent to us and what was sent down before? And that most of you are Fâsiqûn”. (5/60) Say: “Shall I inform you of what is worse than this and certain in retribution in the Presence of Allah? They are whom Allah has cursed and brought His Wrath upon, and of whom He made apes and swine and servants to Tâgût. These are worse in place and far more astray from the designed Way”. (5/61) And when they came to you, they said: “We believed”. Indeed they come in with disbelief and indeed they go forth with it. And Allah knows best what they conceal. (5/62) And you see many of them racing with each other in sin and enmity, and their devouring of what is unlawfully acquired. Certainly evil is that which they do. (5/63) Should the learned men and the Rabbis not prohibit them from their speaking of what is sinful and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired? Certainly evil is that which they have been doing. (5/64) And the Jews said: “The Hand of Allah is tied up (He is niggard)”. Their hands have been tied up and they have been cursed for what they said. Nay, both His Hands are widely outstretched. He spends as He wills. And what has been sent down to you (divine orders) from your Lord will certainly make many of them increase in inordinacy and disbelief. And We have put enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection. Whenever they kindle a fire for war, Allah puts it out. And they strive to make mischief on the earth. And Allah does not love the mischief-makers (causing corruption). (5/65) And if only the People of the Book had believed (had wished to reach Allah before death) and had become the pious (the owners of Takwa), We would certainly have covered their sins and We would certainly have made them enter Naîm Heaven. (5/66) And if the People of the Book had kept up (fulfilled) the Torah and the Gospel and that which has been sent down to them from their Lord they would certainly have eaten (many Blessings) from above them and from beneath their feet. There is a party of them who are Muktesid (keeping to the moderate course) (who have attained to the rank of sainthood, friendship of Allah, but not to the continuous “zikîr” - repetition of the Name of Allah). And (but) evil is that which most of them do. (5/67) O Messenger! Proclaim what has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not do it, then you have not conveyed His Message (what He sent onto you). And Allah will protect you from the people. Surely Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. (5/68) Say: “O People of the Book! You are not upon anything (any religion) till you keep up the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent to you from your Lord”. And surely that which has been sent down to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and disbelief. Do not grieve therefore for the disbelieving people. (5/69) Surely those who believe (who wish to reach Allah) and amongst those Jews and Sâbiûn (Sabians) and Christians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do improving deeds (that cleans the souls’ hearts), then there is no fear on them, nor do they grieve. (5/70) Verily We took the Covenant of the Children of Israel and sent Messengers to them. Whenever a Messenger came to them with that which their souls did not desire, some did they call liars and some they killed. (5/71) They thought that what they did would not be a Fitnah (mischief), so they became blind and deaf (they were unable to see and hear the truth). After that Allah accepted their repentance. Then many of them became blind and deaf again. And Allah sees the best of what they do. (5/72) Certainly those who said: “Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Mary became the disbelievers”. Yet the Messiah (Jesus) told them: “O Children of Israel! Be servants to Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (other things) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him Heaven and his abode is the Fire. And there are no helpers for the wrong-doers”. (5/73) Certainly they have disbelieved who said: “Surely Allah is the third of the three (one god out of the Trinity)”. And there is no deity but the only Deity. And if they do not desist from what they (insist to) say, a painful torment will fall on those of them who disbelieve. (5/74) Do they still not then turn with repentance to Allah and ask for His Forgiveness? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (5/75) The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, is but a Messenger. Messengers before him have indeed passed away. And his mother was a Sıddîk (truthful, just). They both used to eat food (just like everybody else). See how We make the Verses clear to them. Then look, how they are deluded (from Allah). (5/76) Say: “Do you become servants to things other than Allah which has no power to harm or benefit you”? And Allah, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (5/77) Say: “O People of the Book! Do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth. And do not follow the vain desires of a people who had fallen into Misguidance before and had caused many to fall into Misguidance and strayed from the designed Way”. (5/78) Those who disbelieved from among the Children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary. This was because they rebelled and used to exceed the limits. (5/79) They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. Certainly evil was that which they did. (5/80) You see many of them turning into (making friends with) those who disbelieve. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them. And in the torment shall they abide forever. (5/81) And if they had believed in Allah and the Prophet and in what has been sent down to him, never would they have taken them as protecting friends. But most of them are Fasiqûn. (5/82) Certainly you will find the most vehement of men in enmity to the believers (Amenu) to be the Jews and those who are associators. And you will find the nearest in friendship to those who believe to be those who say: “Indeed We are Christians”. This is because there are hermits and clergy among them and because they are not arrogant.
