(41/47) To Him is turned (belongs) the Knowledge of the Hour (Doomsday). No fruit comes out of its bloom without His Knowledge. No female conceives, nor can she give birth. On the Day when they shall be called out: “Where are My partners”? They shall say: “We declared to You, none of us is a witness”. (41/48) And those whom they used to call upon before went away from them, and they knew that there is no place to escape for them. (41/49) Human is never tired of praying for good (asking). If an evil touches him, then he gives up all hope and is lost in despair. (41/50) And if We make him taste a Mercy from Us after harm has touched him, he says: “This is mine (my right), and I do not think the Hour (of Doomsday) will come to pass. And even if I am brought back to my Lord, certainly in His presence are absolute beautiful things”. Then We will most certainly inform those who disbelieved of what they did, and We will most certainly make them taste of the terrible torment. (41/51) And when We bestowed a blessing on man, he turned aside and moved away (from thankfulness). And when evil touches him, he prays a lot. (41/52) Say: “Have you seen? If it (Qur'ân) is from Allah’s presence and then you disbelieved in it, who is in greater Misguidance than he who is in a distant opposition”? (41/53) We will show them Our Verses in the objectivity (with the eyes of our spirits) and in the subjectivity (with the hearts’ eyes of our souls), that it will become quite clear to them that this is the Truth. Is it not sufficient that your Lord is a Witness over all things? (41/54) They are surely in doubt as to reaching their Lord (they are dubious about having their spirits reach Allah while they are alive), are they not? He (Allah) encompasses all things (with His Knowledge), does not He?

Ash-Shura
(42/1) Hâ, Mîm. (42/2) Aîn, Sîn, Qâf. (42/3) This is how Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise, reveals to you, and to those before you. (42/4) His is what is in the heavens and in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Greatest. (42/5) The heavens are almost to crumble from above them and the angels glorify their Lord with praise, ask for forgiveness for the people on the earth. Verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that manifests with His Mercy attribute), is not He? (42/6) And they took friends besides Him (Allah). Allah is protector over them (protects their acts in their life-films), and you are not a surrogate over them. (42/7) And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Qur'ân, that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (people of Makkah) and those around it, and that you may give warning of the Day of Gathering (day of Resurrection) of which there is no doubt. Some of them shall be in heaven and some in the blazing Fire (Hell). (42/8) And if Allah had willed, He would surely have made them a single nation. And but He makes whom He wills enter into His Mercy, and for the wrong-doers, there is no friend, nor helper for them. (42/9) Or have they taken friends besides Him? Allah is the Friend, and He raises the dead. And He is Omnipotent. (42/10) If you differ about something, the judgment of it then belongs to Allah. This is Allah, my Lord. In Him I put my trust and to Him do I turn. (42/11) The Creator of the heavens and the earth has made mates for you from your own souls and also mates (pairs) of the animals. Therein multiplies and spreads you. Nothing is like Him and He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. (42/12) His are the keys of the heavens and the earth He enlarges and straitens the sustenance for whom He wills. Verily He is the All-Knower of everything. (42/13) He has made a Law (Shari'a) for you of the Religion what He had enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, and that which We had enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus, saying: “Maintain the Religion and make no divisions in it (religion)”. That which you called the disbelievers to (wishing to reach Allah before death) has been very difficult for them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and delivers to Himself (He causes his spirit to reach Himself while he is alive) who turns to Him. (42/14) And no one else divided into groups but those who transgressed among themselves after knowledge had come to them. If a Word had not gone forth from your Lord till an appointed term, certainly the judgment would have been given between them (immediately). Those who were made to inherit the Book after them are most surely in serious doubt about it. (42/15) Therefore, now you invite them, and be on the right direction (towards Allah) as you are commanded. And do not follow their low desires and tell them: “I believed in what Allah has revealed of the Book, and I am commanded to be just amongst you. Allah is your Lord and our Lord. For us are our deeds and for you are your deeds. There is no dispute between us and you. Allah will gather us together, and to Him is the return”. (42/16) Those who argue about Allah after the call (invitation of Allah) has been answered, their argument (proof) is null (useless) in the presence of their Lord. Upon them is Wrath (of Allah), and for them is a severe torment. (42/17) Allah sent down the Book and the Scale (Al Mizan) with truth, and you cannot comprehend (know). Perhaps that Hour is very near. (42/18) Those who do not believe in it (the Doomsday) would hasten it on. Yet those who believe (who are âmenû) are in fear from it, and they know that it is the truth. Most surely those who are doubtful and struggle concerning the Hour (Doomsday) are truly in remote Misguidance, are they not? (42/19) Allah is Gracious to His servants. He gives sustenance to whom He wills and He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty (the All-Honorable). (42/20) Whoever desires the harvest (the gain) of the Hereafter, We increase his gain. Whosoever desires the harvest of this world, We give him of it, and in the Hereafter he has no portion. (42/21) Or do they have associates who have instituted for them a Law (Sharia) in the Religion that which Allah has not allowed? And had it not been for a Word of separation was not mentioned, the matter would have certainly been judged between them (immediately). And surely for the wrong- doers there is a painful torment. (42/22) You see the wrong-doers fearing on account of what they have earned, and what they are afraid of will surely befall them. And those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do righteous deeds (the soul’s cleansing) are in the Gardens of heaven. They have everything they desire in the presence of their Lord. That is the supreme Virtue. (42/23) This is of which Allah gives glad tidings to His servants for those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (the soul’s cleansing). Say: “I do not ask of you any wage for it (the message) except love in closeness”, and whoever does a good deed, We increase good for him. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Thanked One. (42/24) Or do they forge a lie against Allah? Along with that if Allah wills, He seals your heart and eliminate the falsehood. Fulfill the truth by His Words. Surely He knows well what is in the bosoms. (42/25) And He it is Who accepts the repentance of His servants and pardons their evil deeds. And He knows what you do. (42/26) And (Allah) answers (the prayers of) those who believe (who are âmenû) and do improving deeds (the soul’s cleansing). And increases for them from His Virtue. And the disbelievers; for them there is a severe torment. (42/27) And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His servants, they would certainly go extravagant in the earth. But He sends down as He wills. Surely He is All-Aware, All-Seeing of His servants. (42/28) And He it is Who sends down the rain and spread His Mercy after (they) have despaired. And He is the Friend, the Praised One. (42/29) And from among His Signs for Him to create the heavens and the earth, and to multiply and spread the animals in there. And He is All-Powerful to gather them together when He wills. (42/30) And whenever a misfortune befalls you, it is due to what your hands have earned (what you have done). Pardons most of (misfortune) them (does not give to you). (42/31) And you are not the ones who can make (Allah) weak in the earth and there is not any friend or any helper for you besides Allah. (42/32) And from among His Signs are the ships in the sea that swim like mountains. (42/33) If He wills, He causes the wind to halt. Then (the ships) lie motionless on it. Most surely there are Signs in this for every very patient, grateful one. (42/34) Or He drags them to perdition for what they have earned and pardons the most (too). (42/35) And those who dispute about Our Verses may know that there is no place of refuge for them. (42/36) So everything you have been given is only an enjoyment for the life of the world. And for those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are alive), what is with Allah is better and more lasting, and they trust their Lord. (42/37) And they eschew from the greater sins and indecencies, and when they are angry they forgive. (42/38) And they respond to their Lord and keep up the Prayer. And they gather amongst each other to conduct their affairs by mutual consultation. And they spend out of what We have given them as sustenance. (42/39) And they help one another when an attack touches them. (42/40) And the recompense of an evil is an evil like thereof. But whoever forgives and improves, then his wage (reward) belongs to Allah. Surely He does not love the wrong-doers. (42/41) And indeed whosoever gets back his due after he has been wronged, for such there is no way (punishment) upon (against) them. (42/42) But there is a way (punishment) upon (against) those who oppress others and bully in the earth without right. They are, for them there is a painful torment. (42/43) And whoever practices patience and forgives this indeed is a great affair. (42/44) And whomsoever Allah leaves in Misguidance, then after this, for him there is no Friend. You see the wrongdoers, as they say: “Is there any way of return (to the world)?”, when they see the torment. (42/45) And you see them brought forward to it (torment) humbling themselves because of the abasement, looking with a stealthy glance. Those who believe (who are âmenû) said: “Surely those who are in Loss are they who have caused themselves and their families to fall into Loss (Husrân) on the Day of Resurrection”. Surely the wrong-doers are in lasting (continuous) torment, are not they? (42/46) And they have no friends to help them besides Allah, and whomsoever Allah leaves in Misguidance, for him there is no way (Salvation). (42/47) Answer your Lord (wish to reach Allah while you are alive), before there comes a Day by Allah which will not be averted. There is for you no refuge on that Day of Permission, and there is for you no denial (you cannot deny what you used to do). (42/48) After this, if they turn aside, We have not sent you as a guardian over them. On you is only to convey (the Message). And surely when We make human taste of Mercy from Us, he rejoices with it. And if an evil befalls him on account of what his hands have already sent before (due to what he used to do), then surely human becomes utterly ungrateful (denier). (42/49) Allah’s is the Dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills. He bestows daughters upon whom He wills and sons upon whom He wills. (42/50) Or bestows both daughter and son. And He makes whom He wills barren. Surely He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. (42/51) And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by Vahy (Revelation) or from behind a veil, or by sending a Messenger (angel) revealing by His Permission what He wills. Allah is All-Knowing and Most Wise. (42/52) And thus We have revealed a spirit (the glorious Qur’an) from our Command. You did not know what the Book was, nor what the Faith was. And but We made it a Glorious-Light (Nûr). We deliver to Hidayet with it whom We will of Our servants. And most surely you are guiding to Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (42/53) The Path of Allah that His is whatsoever in the heavens and the earth. All orders (affairs) travel (return) to Allah, do not they?

Az-Zukhruf
(43/1) Hâ, Mîm. (43/2) By the Manifest Book, that. (43/3) Surely We made it an Arabic Qur’an that you may be mindful. (43/4) And surely it (the Qur’an) is in the Mother of the Book in Our presence. Truly exalted, full of wisdom (the owner of judgment and wisdom). (43/5) Shall We then give up on Reminder (conveying) to you altogether, because you became an extravagant people? (43/6) And many Prophets have We sent among the ones (nations) before you. (43/7) And never came a Prophet to them but they used to mock at him. (43/8) Therefore We destroyed those even who were stronger (the dwellers of Makkah) possessing them violently. The examples (related to the ancients) were mentioned (earlier). (43/9) And if you verily ask them, “who created the heavens and the earth?” they most certainly say: “The All-Mighty, All-Knowing created them”. (43/10) It is Him Who has made for you the earth like a bed, and made in it ways for you that you may have Hidayet. (43/11) It is Him Who sends down water from the sky with a fate (with a decreed measure) then We revived a dead land therewith (brought forth plants from dry land). Just like this, you shall be brought forth (from your graves). (43/12) It is Him Who created all pairs (males and females) from them (plants). Made for you from the ships and the animals that you ride on. (43/13) That you may mount on their backs. Then remember the Blessing of your Lord when you mount thereon and say: “Glory be to Him Who made this subservient to us and we would not be able to do it”. (43/14) And surely we are the ones who will return to our Lord. (43/15) And they assigned to Him some of His servants. Surely human is clearly a manifest denier. (43/16) Has He taken the girls to Himself and spared the boys for you? (43/17) And when one of them is given the news of that which he assigns a likeness for the Most-Beneficent (a baby girl), his face becomes black and shadowed in rage. (43/18) The one who is brought up for an adornment and who is not strong enough to struggle (that they assign to Allah)? (43/19) And they considered the angels who are the servants of the Most-Beneficent as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be written down and they shall be questioned. (43/20) And they said: “If the Most-Beneficent had willed, we should never have worshipped them”. They have no knowledge of this. They are only lying. (43/21) Or have We given them a Book before it so that they hold fast to it? (43/22) Nay! They said: “We certainly found our fathers on a certain way (religion), and surely we are the ones who reach Hidayet on their foot-steps”. (43/23) And just like this, We did not send before you a Warner in a country, but those who led easy (comfortable) lives in it did not say: “Surely we found our fathers on a way (religion), and surely we are followers of their footsteps”. (43/24) (All Warners) said: “Even if I had brought to you which will make you reach Hidayet better than that (the religion) on which you found your fathers”? (They) said: “Surely we are the disbelievers in that with which you are sent”. (43/25) Upon that We took revenge on them. Now see how the end of the beliers was! (43/26) And Abraham had said to his father and his people: “Surely I am clear (far off) of what you worship”. (43/27) Except Him Who did create me. Because verily He will deliver me to Hidayet. (43/28) And He made it a Word lasting within his offspring. It is hoped that they may turn (from the idols). (43/29) Nay, I gave them and their fathers sustenance until there came to them the truth (the Qur’ân) and a Messenger explaining it. (43/30) And when the truth (the Qur’ân) came to them, they said: “This is magic and without a doubt we are the disbelievers in it”. (43/31) And they said: “Should not this Qur’ân have been sent down to one great man of the two cities”? (43/32) Is it they who distribute the Mercy of your Lord? We distributed their livelihood between them in the life of this world. We have exalted some of them above others in degrees, that some of them may take (employ) others in their work. And the Mercy of your Lord is better than what they collect (than the money they save by not employing others). (43/33) And were it not that all people had become a single nation; We would certainly have made the houses of those who disbelieve in the Most-Beneficent with roofs of silver and the stairways by which they ascend in them. (43/34) And for their houses (We would have made silver) doors and couches on which they would recline. (43/35) And (We would have put on them) adornments (jewelry). And all these are the enjoyment of this world, and the Hereafter is in the Presence of your Lord and for the owners of piety. (43/36) And whoever turns away from the remembrance (dhikr) of the Most-Beneficent, We let a devil attack him, so he (devil) becomes a companion to him. (43/37) And most surely they (Satans) turn them from the Way (of Allah), and they think that they are on Hidayet. (43/38) When he (one of them) came to Us (on the Doomsday), he said: “Wish that between me and you there were the distance of the two easts”. This is a terrible closeness! (43/39) And nothing profits you today. You had done wrong. Surely you are partners in the Torment. (43/40) Will you then make the deaf to hear? Or will you deliver the blind and those who are in clear Misguidance to Hidayet? (43/41) But We will also take you away from them (end your life). We surely are the One who then shall take vengeance on them. (43/42) Or, We will certainly show you that which (the Torment) We have promised them. Because surely We have full Power over them. (43/43) Therefore hold fast to that which has been revealed to you. Surely you are on Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (43/44) And most surely that (Qur’an) is indeed a reminder (advise) for you and for your people, and you shall be responsible (of Qur’an). (43/45) And ask those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you that if We ever appointed gods to be worshipped besides the Most-Beneficent? (43/46) And certainly We sent Moses with Our Verses (miracles) to Pharaoh and his (people’s) notables. (Then) he said (to them): “Surely I am a Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds”. (43/47) But when (Moses) came to them with Our Verses (miracles), they were laughing (mocking) at them. (43/48) And We did not show them a Verse (a miracle) but it was greater than the other, and We seized them with the torment, in order that they might turn (to Allah). (43/49) And they said: “O magician, call on your Lord for us, for the sake of the covenant that you have with Allah (that He shall remove this torment from us)! (In that case) We shall surely be on Hidayet”. (43/50) But when We remove from them the torment, they brake (their pledge). (43/51) And Pharaoh proclaimed amongst his people: “O my people, is not mine the kingdom of Egypt? And these rivers flowing beneath me? Do you not still see”? (43/52) Or, (am I not) better than that weak one who can hardly express himself clearly (cannot talk normal)? (43/53) Should not the bracelets of gold have been put upon him, or angels sent along with him? (43/54) So (Pharaoh) took his people lightly (He looked down on his people). Upon that (his people) obeyed him. Surely they became a transgressing people. (43/55) So they made us sad, therefore We took vengeance on them. For this reason We drowned them all. (43/56) So We made them a history (previous nation) and an example for the latter (nations). (43/57) And when the son of Mary (Jesus) is given as an example, then your people were screaming (while mocking). (43/58) And they said: “Are our gods better, or is he”? They did not mention this example to you except to argue you. Nay, they are an enemy nation. (43/59) He (Jesus) is only a servant that We granted our Blessing on him, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel. (43/60) And if We had willed, We would have made out of you angels to replace you in the earth. (43/61) And most surely he is indeed (a knowledge) for the Hour (Doomsday), therefore have no doubt about it! And depend on Me (Allah)! This is Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (43/62) And let not Satan hinder you (from Sıratı Mustakîm), surely he is an open enemy for you. (43/63) And when Jesus came with the clear proofs (miracles), he said: “And I have brought to you Al-Hikmah (the Wisdom) to make clear to you part of what you differ in. So have piety towards Allah and obey me”. (43/64) Surely Allah is my and your Lord. Therefore become a servant to Him! This is Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (43/65) Then the factions differed among themselves. Now woe to those who do wrong from the torment of a painful Day. (43/66) Do they wait for anything but the Hour (Doomsday) that it should come upon them all of a sudden while they do not perceive? (43/67) The intimate friends on the Day of Permission are enemies to one another, except the owners of piety. (43/68) O My servants! There is no fear for you on that Day, nor shall you grieve. (43/69) That they believed in Our Verses and submitted (to Allah). (43/70) You and your spouses enter heaven! You will be relieved (there). (43/71) Around them shall be passed round dishes and goblets of gold and therein shall be all that souls yearn and all that eyes shall delight in. And you are the ones who shall abide therein forever. (43/72) And this is heaven which you have been made to inherit because of what you used to do. (43/73) For you therein are plenty of fruits of which you shall eat. (43/74) Surely the sinners are the ones who will abide in the Torment of Hell forever. (43/75) (The Torment) shall not be lightened from them and they are the ones therein who are despaired (of the Mercy of Allah). (43/76) And We did not wrong them, but they became the wrong-doers. (43/77) And (the sinners) called out: “O Mâlik (Keeper of hell)! Let your Lord make a ruling about (kill) us”. Mâlik said: “Surely you are the ones who will remain (in this Torment)”. (43/78) Certainly We have brought you the truth, but most of you are reluctant to the truth. (43/79) Or have they gripped the affair firmly? Surely We are actually the One Who grip the affair firmly. (43/80) Or do they think that We do not hear what they conceal and their whispers? Nay, Our Rasuls (Messengers) with them are writing down (everything). (43/81) Say: “If the Most-Beneficent had a son, I would be the first one of those who is a servant to him”. (43/82) The Lord of the non-existence, heavens and the earth is far from what they ascribe. (43/83) Now leave them! Let them plunge into vain things and play until they meet the Day which they are promised. (43/84) And He is the Deity in the heaven and the Deity in the earth. And He is the All-Wise, All-Knowing. (43/85) And so Blessed He is that His is the Dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. The knowledge of the Hour (Doomsday) is in His Presence and to Him you shall be returned. (43/86) And those whom they call upon besides Him (Allah) have no power of intercession, except those who bear witness to the Truth and they do know (the Truth). (43/87) And if you should ask them ‘who created them’, they would certainly say: “Allah”. Yet, how are they turned away (from the Truth)? (43/88) By his (Mohammed’s) saying: “O my Lord, surely these are a people who do not believe”. (43/89) Then turn away from them and say: “With Peace”. They shall soon come to know.

Ad-Dukhan
(44/1) Hâ, Mim. (44/2) By the manifest Book. (44/3) We surely sent it down on a blessed night. Without a doubt, We are the Warners. (44/4) Therein every wise (judged) command (affair) is distinguished (determined). (44/5) As a Command from Our Presence). Surely We are the Senders (of the Qur’an and the Messengers). (44/6) As a Mercy from your Lord. Surely He, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (44/7) Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you are the owners of certainty (yaqîn). (44/8) There is no god but He. He gives life and kills. He is your Lord, and Lord of your forefathers. (44/9) Nay, they are playing about in doubt. (44/10) Thus watch for the day when the sky shall bring an evident smoke (a mischief). (44/11) (A mischief) that covered (most of) the people. That is a painful torment. (44/12) Our Lord, remove from us this torment. Surely we are believers. (44/13) There had come to them a Messenger that explained (everything). (In spite of this) they did not learn a lesson (from what the Messenger has said). (44/14) They have turned away from him and said: “Taught (by being revealed by Satan), a madman”. (44/15) Surely (even) if We remove the torment a little, you are the ones who certainly shall return (to Shirq, to associating partners with Allah). (44/16) The day when We shall seize (them) with the most violent seizing, surely We are the One Who will take vengeance. (44/17) And certainly We tried before them Pharaoh’s people too, and a noble Messenger (Moses) had come to them. (44/18) (Saying): “Give me the servants of Allah. Surely I am a trustful Messenger for you. (44/19) And do not exalt yourselves against Allah! Because, I come to you with a clear Sultan (authority). (44/20) And surely I took refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me. (44/21) And if you do not believe in me, then keep away from me. (44/22) Then he called upon his Lord, saying: “These are a sinning people”. (44/23) Leave immediately (along) with My servants to walk in the night! Surely you will be pursued. (44/24) And leave the sea open! Surely they are an army that shall be drowned. (44/25) Many of the gardens and water springs they have left! (44/26) And crop fields and goodly places (mansions)! (44/27) And (they left the) blessings wherein they used to take delight! (44/28) Just like that. And We made the later people inherit them. (44/29) The heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they extended. (44/30) And verily We delivered the Children of Israel from the abasing torment (of Pharaoh). (44/31) A Pharaoh that he surely was haughty and one of the extravagant. (44/32) And certainly We chose them (Children of Israel), upon a knowledge, above the Worlds. (44/33) And We gave them of the Verses (miracles) wherein was a clear trial. (44/34) Most surely they certainly will say. (44/35) (Our death is) only our first death and we shall not be raised again. (44/36) So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. (44/37) Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, because they were sinners. (44/38) And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them, for mere play. (44/39) We did not create them both except with the truth (We created them with Truth), and but most of them do not know. (44/40) Surely the Day of Separation is all of their appointed term. (44/41) On that Day, there is no benefit from a friend to a friend, nor shall they be helped. (44/42) Except him on whom Allah has Mercy (whom Allah manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). Surely He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (44/43) Surely the tree of Zaqqûm. (44/44) It is the food of the sinful. (44/45) Boils in their bellies like melted metal. (44/46) Like the boiling of scalding water. (44/47) Seize him! Drag him into the middle of hell. (44/48) Then pour over his head the boiling water as torment. (44/49) Taste (the torment)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the honorable. (44/50) Surely this Torment is what you used to doubt. (44/51) Surely the owners of piety are at secure posts. (44/52) In heavens and water springs. (44/53) They wear of fine and thick silk, facing each other. (44/54) Just like this. And We wed them with Hûr that have wide, lovely eyes. (44/55) Therein they ask for all kinds of fruits in safety. (44/56) They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and (Allah) had saved them from the torment of hell. (44/57) As a Virtue from your Lord, this is the Greatest Salvation. (44/58) Thus have We made it (the Qur’an) easy in your language. It is hoped that they remember. (44/59) Now watch (wait)! Surely they are also watching (waiting).

Al-Jathiya
(45/1) Hâ, Mîm. (45/2) The revelation of the Book is by Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (45/3) Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are Signs (proofs) for the believers. (45/4) And in your creation and in animals (Allah) multiplied and spread around are Signs (proofs) for a people who are the owners of certainty (Yaqin). (45/5) And the alternation of the night and the day, and Allah to send down sustenance from the sky (i.e. rain, snow), subsequently to give life thereby to the earth after its death, and to turn the winds and have them blow, are Signs (proofs) for a people who use their intelligence. (45/6) These are the Verses of Allah. We recite them to you with the truth. Then in which speech will they believe after Allah and His Verses? (45/7) Woe to every sinful liar. (45/8) Those who are recited hear the Verses of Allah. Then insists proudly as if he had not heard them. So give him the glad tidings of a painful torment. (45/9) And when they come to know of any of Our Verses, they take it for a mockery. For those, there is an abasing torment for them. (45/10) Hell is behind them. And that which they have earned has no profit to them, nor those whom they have taken as friends besides Allah. And for them there is a great torment. (45/11) This is a Hidayet. And as for those who deny the Verses of their Lord, there is a torment upon painful torment. (45/12) Allah, it is He Who made the sea subservient to you that the ships may float therein by His Command, and that you may seek of His Virtue. It is hoped that you may be thankful. (45/13) And He has given to your command everything that are in the heavens and in the earth from Himself (from His Grace). Most surely there are Signs (lessons) in this for a people who reflect. (45/14) Say to those who believe (who are âmenû): “Forgive the people who do not hope for the (coming) Days of Allah, that (Allah) will punish for what they have earned”. (45/15) Whoever does an improving deed (the soul’s cleansing), it is for his own soul, and whoever does an evil deed, it is against himself. Then to your Lord you shall be made to return. (45/16) And certainly We gave the Children of Israel the Book and Judgment (its laws, authority, rule) and Prophet-hood. And We gave them of the clean provisions, and We made them excel the Worlds. (45/17) And We gave them clear signs (proofs) from the Command (of Allah). But they differed out of aggressiveness among themselves after the knowledge had come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that in which they used to differ. (45/18) Then We have set you upon Sharia (a Law) of the Commandment (of Allah). Therefore follow that (Law)! And do not follow the low desires of those who do not know. (45/19) They certainly cannot benefit you at all about something (a command) from Allah. Surely the wrong-doers are friends of each other, and Allah is the Friend of the owners of piety. (45/20) This (Qur’ân) is an insight for the mankind, and a Hidayet and a Mercy for a people who have certainty. (45/21) Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (the soul’s cleansing) that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is what they judge. (45/22) And Allah created the heavens and the earth with the truth and that every soul may be given what it has earned (reward or punishment), and they shall not be wronged. (45/23) Have you then seen him who took his low desire for his god? And Allah has left him in Misguidance upon a knowledge (his useless knowledge). And has set a seal upon his sense of hearing and his heart. And put a covering on his sense of sight. In this case who may deliver him to Hidayet after Allah? Do you still not remember (think)? (45/24) And they said: “That (life) is nothing but our life in this world, we die and we live. And nothing may destroy us except the Time (Ad- Dahr)”. And they have no knowledge of that. They only conjecture. (45/25) And when Our clear Verses were recited to them, their proof (argument) was nothing but saying: “Bring our fathers if you are truthful”! (45/26) Say: “Allah gives you life, them He makes you die. Then gathers you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt”. But most of mankind do not know. (45/27) And Allah’s is the Dominion of the heavens and the earth. And on the Day of Permission when the Hour shall come to pass, those who are false will be in Loss. (45/28) And you see every nation kneeling down. Every nation is called to their book. On that day, you get recompensed for what you used to do (reward or punishment. (45/29) This is Our book that tells you the truth. Surely We were recording what you used to do (in your life films by Our angels). (45/30) But as to those who believed and did improving deeds (who did the soul’s cleansing by wishing to reach Allah before death), their Lord puts them into His Mercy. This is the Manifest Salvation. (45/31) And but to those who disbelieved are told: “Were you not the ones who were proud when My Verses were recited to you? And you became a sinning people”. (45/32) And when it was said: “The Promise of Allah and the Hour (Doomsday) that there is no doubt about it is true”, you said: “We do not know what that Hour (Doomsday) is! We think that it is only a conjecture and We are not the owners of certainty (Yaqîn)”.
