(36/55) Surely the dwellers of heaven, that Day, are in an affair quite delightful. (36/56) They and their wives are in pleasant shade, reclining on raised thrones. (36/57) They have fruits therein and (every) thing they ask for. (36/58) (There is) a Word: “Peace” from the Lord, the Most Merciful. (36/59) And O you sinners! Get apart, this Day. (36/60) O Children of Adam, did I not take a Covenant from you, that you should not be servants to Satan? Surely he (Satan) is your obvious enemy. (36/61) And (did I not take a covenant) that you should become servants to Me? This is (to be on) Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed towards Allah). (36/62) And certainly he (Satan) left in Misguidance a great multitude of you. Do you still not, then, use your minds? (36/63) This is Hell which you were promised! (36/64) Prop yourselves against it (enter into it) this Day because you disbelieved. (36/65) Today, We seal up their mouths. Their hands speak to Us and their feet bear witness of what they earned (committed). (36/66) And if We had willed, We would certainly wreck havoc (blind) their eyes, then they would run about on the way. After this, how should they see? (36/67) And had We willed, We would surely have changed them in their places, then they would have been unable to go forward and backward. (36/68) And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reverse him in creation (take his strength away). Do they still not then use their minds? (36/69) And We have not taught him (the Prophet) poetry, and this would not be suitable for him. This is nothing else than a Reminder (Dhikr) and plain Qur'ân (that is revealed to him). (36/70) (The descent of the Qur'ân) is to warn those who are alive and that the Word (of the Torment) may prove true against the disbelievers.
