(9/94) They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say: “Make no excuses; by no means will we believe you. Indeed Allah has already informed us of the news (case) concerning you. Allah and His Messenger will see your doings. Then you shall be brought back to the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, then He will inform you of what you used to do”. (9/95) They will swear to you by Allah when you return to them so that you may turn your faces away from them. So do turn your faces away from them. Surely, they are unclean and their abode is Hell as a recompense for what they used to earn. (9/96) They swear to you that you may be pleased with them. Even if you are pleased with them, surely Allah is not pleased with the Fâsiqûn people. (9/97) The Bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy and more disposed not to know the limits of what Allah has sent down to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise (owner of decision). (9/98) And of the Bedouins there are some who take what they spend to be a loss. And they watch for the changing of the time and bad times to be on you. May the calamity of evil be on them! And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (9/99) And of the Bedouins there are some who believe in Allah and the latter day (the day of reaching Allah before death) and take what they spend as means of nearness in the presence of Allah and in the Messenger’s prayers. Indeed these (spending in Allah’s Way) are a means of nearness for them, are they not? Allah will make them enter into His Mercy. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One who sends the Light of Mercy). (9/100) The Sabikûn-el Evvelîn (out of those who competed in good works, those who are charged with and authorized to the Salâh by delivering their free will to Allah at the Rank of Irshad) were of the Emigrants (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Helpers (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped the Emigrants) and those who depended on them (emigrants and helpers) with Ihsân (blessings), (Companions were at Irshad post and others depended on them). Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him. Allah has prepared for them Heavens under which the rivers flow, to abide in them forever. That is the Supreme Reward. (9/101) And among those around you of the Bedouins are hypocrites, and from the people of the city some are accustomed to hypocrisy. You do not know them. We know them. We will torment them twice, then shall they be turned back to a tremendous torment. (9/102) And others (some of those who have remained behind from the war) have confessed their sins. They have mixed an improving deed and an evil one. It is hoped that Allah will accept their repentance. Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (9/103) Take alms out of their property, and clean and cleanse them thereby and pray for them; surely your prayer is a relief (peace) to them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (9/104) Do they not know that Allah accepts repentance from His servants and takes the alms. And verily Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. (9/105) Say: “Do (whatever you want). Allah, His Messenger and the believers will see your deeds. You shall be brought back to the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, then He will inform you of what you used to do”. (9/106) And the others deferred until the command of Allah. He will either torment them or He will turn to them in forgiveness. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (9/107) And those who took for themselves a Masjid (Masjid-i Dirar) for causing harm and (the strengthening of) disbelief and division among the believers and as a (observation) station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they surely swear: “We intended only the best” and Allah bears witness that they are certainly liars. (9/108) Do not ever pray there. Certainly a Masjid founded on Piety (Takwâ) from the very first day is more worthy to pray in it. Within it are men who love to purify (their hearts) themselves. And Allah loves those who are purified. (9/109) Is it then he who founds his building on Piety towards Allah and His Pleasure better, or he who lays the foundation of his building on the brink of a crumbling precipice ready to crumble down. So that he crumbles with it into the Fire of Hell. And Allah does not deliver the unjust people to Hidayet. (9/110) The building which they have built will ever continue to be a source of hypocrisy and suspicion in their hearts, until their hearts get cut into pieces. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (9/111) Surely Allah has bought from the believers who fight in the Way of Allah, so they kill and are killed, their lives and their property for that they will have Paradise. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in your bargain which you have made with Him. That is the Supreme Reward (Fevzu’l Azîm). (9/112) Give glad tidings to those who turn to Allah in repentance, who serve (Him), who praise Him, who fast or travel (who emigrate in the Way of Allah, who go forth in order to fight or exalt the Name of Allah, to strengthen his religion, to render service in the Way of Allah, to study, to travel through the world to take a lesson and to reflect, the fasters, the travelers), who bow down, who prostrate themselves, who enjoin what is good, and forbid from what is evil and who keep the limits of Allah and the believers! (9/113) It is not (proper) for a Prophet and those who believe (who are âmenû) to ask for forgiveness for the associators even though they should be near relatives after it has become clear to them that they are inmates of the flaming Fire. (9/114) And Abraham’s invoking (of Allah) for his father’s forgiveness was only because of a promise he has made to him (his father). But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of Allah, he disowned him. Most surely Abraham is very tenderhearted (Awwah), gentle (compassionate). (9/115) And Allah will never cause a people to fall into Misguidance after He has guided them into Hidayet, until He has made clear to them how they should be the owners of piety. Surely Allah is the All-Knowing. (9/116) Surely Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death. There is not for you besides Allah any friend or helper. (9/117) Certainly Allah has granted repentance to the Prophet and the Emigrants. In the hour of distress after their hearts were about to deviate (from the Faith) He granted repentance to the Helpers who depended on him and a group from them. Then He accepted their repentance. Surely to them He is full of Kindness, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy). (9/118) And the three (per verse 106 - those who stayed behind from war and whose decree was postponed) who were left behind (He accepted their repentance as well). The earth became strait to them in spite of its spaciousness and their souls were also straitened to them. They knew it for certain that there was no refuge but Allah. Then He accepted their repentance that they might redeem their spirits back to Allah again. Surely Allah is the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy). (9/119) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Be the owners of piety towards Allah and be with the Sâdikîn (loyal ones). (9/120) It is not (proper) for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the Bedouins that they remain behind after the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer their souls over his soul. This is because there afflicts them not thirst or fatigue or hunger in the Way of Allah, nor do they take any step which enrages the disbelievers, nor do they attain from the enemy what they attain, but an improving deed is written down to them on account of it; surely Allah does not waste the reward of the Muhsînin (good-doers). (9/121) Nor do they spend anything that may be spent, small or great, nor do they traverse a valley, but it is written down to their credit, that Allah may reward them with the best of what they used to do. (9/122) And it is not necessary for the believers that they should go forth (to fight) altogether. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in religion and they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of Allah). (9/123) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Fight those of the disbelievers who are the nearest to you and let them find in you hardness. And know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious, the owners of Takwa). (9/124) And whenever a Sûrah (a chapter of the Qur’ân) is sent down, there are some of them who say: “Which of you has it strengthened in Faith”? Then as for those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death), it strengthens them in Faith and they give glad tidings to each other (rejoice). (9/125) And as for those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubt, disbelief and hypocrisy) it adds uncleanness (disbelief, doubt and hypocrisy) to their uncleanness and they die while they are disbelievers. (9/126) Do they not see that they are tried once or twice in every year? Yet they do not repent (turn to Allah) nor do they remember (repeat the Name of Allah). (9/127) Whenever a Sûrah (a chapter) is sent down, they cast glances at one another and ask: “Has anyone seen you”? Then they turn away. Allah has turned away their hearts because they are a people who do not understand. (9/128) Certainly a mighty Messenger has come to you from among yourselves. Grievous to him is your falling into distress. He is very concerned over you and to the believers is kind and compassionate. (9/129) Now if they turn away after this, say: “Allah is Sufficient for me, there is no god but He. In Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne”.

Yunus
(10/1) Alif-Lâm-Râ. These are the Verses of the Wise Book. (10/2) Does it seem strange to men that We revealed to a man from among themselves, (saying): “Warn the people and give good news to those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)”? For them there is a Rank of Sıddik (Truthfulness) with their Lord. The disbelievers say: “This is most surely a manifest magician”. (10/3) Surely your Lord Allah is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then rose over the Throne (beyond existence). (He) regulates the affairs and there is no intercessor except after His Permission. This is Allah, your Lord. Be a servant to Him. Do you not then deliberate? (10/4) To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of Allah is true. Surely He begins the creation in the first instant. Then those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (that purify the souls’ hearts) are returned to Him again, that He may reward them with justice. And as for those who disbelieve, for them there will be a drink of hot water and painful torment because they disbelieved. (10/5) He it is Who made the sun a Radiance and the moon a glorious light. And measured out for it stages that you might know the numbers and the computation of years. Allah did not create anything but with truth. He makes manifest the Verses for a people who know. (10/6) Most surely in the variation of the night and the day and what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, there are Signs (proofs) for a people who have piety (Takwa). (10/7) Surely they do not wish to reach Us (they do not wish to make their spirits reach Us before death). They are pleased with the life of the world and are satisfied with it, and those who are heedless of Our Verses. (10/8) As for those, their abode is the Fire because of (the degrees) what they used to earn. (10/9) Surely those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (the souls’ cleansing), their Lord will deliver them to Hidayet for their Faith. They are in the Gardens of Delight (Cannâtin Naîm) that rivers flow under them. (10/10) Their call in it (will be): “Glory be to You, O Allah”! And their greetings in it will be: “Peace”. And the close of their call will be: “All praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds”. (10/11) And if Allah were to hasten the evil to men as they would hasten on the good, their doom (term allowed to them) would already have been decreed for them. But We leave those alone who do not wish to reach Us (while they are living in this world) in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. (10/12) And when harm touches man, he invokes Us, lying on his side, or sitting or standing. But when We remove the harm from him, he passes on as if he had never invoked Us for a harm that touched him. Thus it is made fair-seeming to the extravagant that which they used to do. (10/13) And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they did wrong. And their Messengers had come to them with the clear proofs. And they would not believe. Thus do We punish the guilty people. (10/14) Then We made you vicegerents in the earth after them so that We may see how you act. (10/15) And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, those who do not wish to reach Us (while they are alive) said: “Bring a Qur’ân other than this, or change it”. Say: “It is not for me to change it based on my own soul. I only follow what is revealed to me. Surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of a Great Day”. (10/16) Say: “If Allah had so willed, I would not have recited It to you, nor would I have made It known to you. Yet I have stayed among you a whole lifetime before It”. Do you not then exercise your mind? (10/17) So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Surely He does not cause the guilty to attain Salvation. (10/18) And they worship besides Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them (idols). And they say: “These are our intercessors with Allah”. Say: “Do you inform Allah of what He does not know in the heavens and the earth”? Glory be to Him, and supremely Exalted is He above what they associate with Him. (10/19) And mankind was not but one community. Then later they differed. Had not a Word already gone forth from your Lord, the matter would have certainly been decided between them regarding what they differed. (10/20) And they say: “Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord”? Say: “The Unseen is only for Allah; therefore, wait, surely I too, with you, am of those who wait”. (10/21) And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they plot (mock) against Our verses. Say: “Allah is more Swift in plotting”. Certainly, Our messengers write down (record) what you plot. (10/22) He it is Who makes you travel by land and sea. Even you were in the ships, and they were sailing on with them in a pleasant breeze. And they rejoiced in it. A violent wind overtook them and the billows surged in on them from all sides. They assumed that they were encompassed about. They invoked Allah making their religion pure for Him Alone: “If You deliver us from this, we shall truly be of the grateful ones”. (10/23) But when He saves them, at once they commit injustice upon the earth without right. O mankind! Your rebellion is against your own souls, enjoyment of this world’s life, then to us shall be your return. So We will inform you of what you used to do. (10/24) The example of the worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb which from men and livestock eat. Even when the earth clad in its adornments and is beautified, its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it. Our Command came to it, by night or by day, so We rendered it as reaped seed-produce (a clean-mown harvest) as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do We explain the Verses in detail for a people who reflect. (10/25) And Allah invites to the Abode of Surrender (Peace) and guides whom He wills (to cause to reach the Abode of Surrender, to His Presence) to Sırati Mustakîm (the Path directed towards Allah). (10/26) For them there is Ahsenûl Husnâ (the best of the best) (reaching the Essence of Allah) and even more (seeing His Countenance). No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are people of Paradise, in it they shall abide forever. (10/27) And those who have earned evil deeds, the recompense of an evil deed is the like of it; and abasement shall cover them. They shall have no protector from Allah as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night. These are the inmates of the Fire, in it they shall abide forever. (10/28) And on the Day We will gather them altogether, then We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): “(Keep) where you are, you and your associates”. Then We separated widely one from another and their associates said: “It was not us that you used to serve (worship)”. (10/29) Therefore Allah is Sufficient as a Witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your worshipping (us). (10/30) There, every soul will be tested with what was in the past and they will be brought back to Allah. Their true Lord is the True One. What they slandered escaped (diverted) from them. (10/31) Say: “Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who owns the (sense of) hearing and the (sense of) sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And who regulates the affairs”? Then they will say: “Allah”. Say then: “Will you not then be the owners of piety (Takwa)”? (10/32) This is then Allah, your Lord the True One. What is there after the Truth but Misguidance? How are you then turned away (from the Truth to Misguidance)? (10/33) Thus the word of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed. Verily they do not believe. (10/34) Say: “Is there of your associates one that originates the creation and then brings it back again”? Say: “It is Allah who originates the creation and then brings it back again”. How are you then turned away? (10/35) Say: “Is there any of your associates who guides (delivers) to the Truth”? Say: “Allah guides (delivers) to the Truth”. Is He then Who guides to the Truth more worthy to be depended on, or he who himself does not attain Guidance unless he is not made to attain Guidance? What then is the matter with you, how do you judge? (10/36) And most of them do not follow anything but conjecture. Surely conjecture is no substitute for the truth. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. (10/37) And it was not for this Qur'an to be produced by other than Allah. But it is a confirmation of that which was before it and a detailed explanation of the Book. There is no doubt in it, (it is) from the Lord of the Worlds. (10/38) Or do they say: “He has forged it”? Say: “Then bring a Sûrah (a chapter) like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful”. (10/39) No, but they have denied that the knowledge of which they could not comprehend and the interpretation of it has not yet come to them. Those before them did belie as well. See then what the end of the wrong-doers was. (10/40) And of them is he who believes in it, and of them is he who does not believe in it. Your Lord best knows the mischief-makers. (10/41) And if they belie you, say: “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do”. (10/42) And there are those of them who listen to you. But can you make the deaf to hear, even though they are not mindful? (10/43) And there are those of them who look at you, but can you deliver the blind (whose sense of seeing is not functioning) to Hidayet? (10/44) Truly, Allah does not wrong mankind in any way. But mankind wrong their own souls. (10/45) And on the Day (Allah) shall gather them together as if they had not stayed but an hour of a day, they will recognize each other (they will get acquainted). Indeed, those who have belied the reaching Allah (before death) have caused their souls to fall into Misguidance and could not become those who have reached Hidayet (could not deliver their spirits to Allah). (10/46) And if We show you something of what We promised them or cause you to die, yet to Us is their return. And Allah is the Bearer of Witness to what they used to do. (10/47) For every nation there is a Messenger (Rasul); and when their Messenger comes, the matter is decided between them with justice and they are not wronged. (10/48) And they say: “When will this promise come about, if you are truthful”? (10/49) Say: “I have no power over any harm or benefit to my soul except what Allah may will”. For every nation there is an appointed term. When their term comes, they cannot put it off an hour nor can they hasten it. (10/50) Say: “Have you considered (what) if His torment should come to you by night or by day”? What then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on? (10/51) Then is it that when it has actually occurred you will believe in it or now? And you were impatient for it. (10/52) Then those who did wrong were told: “Taste the everlasting torment”! Will you be requited except for what you used to earn? (10/53) And they will ask you to inform them: Is that true? Say: “Yes, by my Lord”! It is most surely the truth and you are not they who can make (Allah) impotent. (10/54) Indeed if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom when they see the punishment hiding their regret. And they have been judged in justice, and they will not be wronged. (10/55) Now surely Allah’s is what is in the heavens and the earth, are they not? Now surely Allah’s Promise is true, but most of them do not know. (10/56) He gives life and causes death and to Him you shall be brought back. (10/57) O mankind! There has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in your breasts (vices in your soul’s hearts) and Hidayet and Mercy for the believers. (10/58) Say: “Let them rejoice in Allah’s Virtue and in His Mercy”. That is better than (the worldly riches) they amass. (10/59) Say: “Have you seen what Allah has sent down for you of sustenance? Then you made (a part) of it unlawful and (a part) lawful”? Say: “Has Allah permitted you; or do you forge a lie against Allah”? (10/60) And what is the supposition of those who forge lies against Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Most surely Allah is the Owner of Virtue towards mankind, but most of them are ungrateful. (10/61) And you are not in any affair, nor do you recite concerning any portion of the Qur’ân, nor do you do any deed but We are witnesses over you when you are deeply engrossed therein. And nothing is hidden from your Lord so much as the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven, nor any thing less than that nor greater, but it is in Kitab-ı Mübîn (a Clear Book). (10/62) Surely no fear comes upon the friends of Allah nor do they grieve, do they? (10/63) They are the believers (they became âmenû, who wished to reach Allah before death) and became the owners of piety. (10/64) For them are glad tidings in the life of the present world and the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah. This is indeed Fevzu’l Azîm (the Supreme Success). (10/65) Let their words not grieve you. Surely all Power and Honor is Allah’s. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (10/66) Surely whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on earth is Allah’s, are they not? What do they follow those who call (worship) on the associates besides Allah? They do not follow anything but conjectures, and they only suppose (lie). (10/67) He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day to make things visible. Most surely there are Signs in it for a people who would hear. (10/68) They said: “Allah has taken a son”! Glory be to Him (He is excepted of such thing). He is the Richest (Free of all needs, Self-sufficient). His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. You have no proof for this. Do you say against Allah what you do not know? (10/69) Say: “Most surely those who forge a lie against Allah shall not have Salvation”. (10/70) (There is) a provision in this world. Then to Us shall be their return. Then We shall make them taste a severe torment because they used to disbelieve. (10/71) And recite to them the news of Noah. He had said to his people: “O my people! If my stay (with you) and my reminding of the Verses of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. Then you and your associates, resolve upon your affairs, then let not your affairs be a worry to you. Then have it executed against me and give me no respite”. (10/72) But if you turn away, I do not ask for any wage from you either. (If any) my wage is only with Allah, and I am commanded to be of those who submitted to Him. (10/73) But they belied him. Then We delivered him and those with him in the Ark and We made them vicegerents and drowned those who belied Our Verses. See then what the end of the warned was. (10/74) Then We sent after him Messengers to their people. They brought them clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had (reached Hidayet before but then) denied before. Thus We seal up the hearts of those who exceed the limits. (10/75) Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his elites with our Verses, but they behaved arrogantly and became a guilty people. (10/76) So when the truth came to them from Us, they said: “This is most surely a clear magic”. (10/77) Moses said: “Do you talk about the truth when it has come to you? Is it magic”? And the magicians never have Salvation. (10/78) They said: “Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon and that the greatness in the land should be for you two? And We are not going to believe in you two”. (10/79) And Pharaoh said: “Bring to me every well-versed magician”. (10/80) And when the sorcerers came, Moses said to them: “Cast down what you have to cast”. (10/81) So when they cast down, Moses said to them: “What you have brought is magic; Allah will surely make it vain. Surely Allah does not improve the work of the mischief-makers”. (10/82) And Allah will establish the truth, even if the guilty ones dislike it. (10/83) But none believed in Moses, except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his elites, lest he should cause them mischief (trouble). And most surely Pharaoh was lofty (an arrogant tyrant) on the earth; and most surely he was of the extravagant (rebellious who extravagantly transgressed the bounds). (10/84) And Moses said: “O my people! If you believe in Allah (if you wish to reach Allah before death) and submit to Him, then put your trust in Him”. (10/85) So they said: “In Allah we put our trust. O our Lord! Do not make us a trial for the tyrant people”. (10/86) And deliver us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people. (10/87) We revealed to Moses and his brother: “Build for your people houses to dwell in Egypt, and make your houses a kiblah (places of worship) and keep up the prayer and give glad tidings to the believers”. (10/88) And Moses said: “Our Lord! You have indeed given to Pharaoh and his elite finery and wealth in this world’s life, our Lord! May all that lead them astray from Your Way! Our Lord! Destroy their wealth and tighten their hearts. So they will not believe until they see the painful torment”. (10/89) (Allah) said: “The prayer of you both has indeed been answered (accepted)”. So remain on a right (religion) course (continue to call to Allah). Follow not the way of those who do not know. (10/90) We made the Children of Israel to pass through the sea. So Pharaoh and his army followed them in oppression and enmity. When (water) drowning overtook him, he said: “I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the Children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit (to Allah)”. (10/91) Now (are you submitting)? And indeed you were rebellious before and you were of the mischief-makers. (10/92) So, We will this day save your body that you may be a Sign to those after you. And most surely the majority of the people are heedless of Our Verses. (10/93) And certainly We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place. And We provided them with good and clean (permissible) things. Then they did not differ until the knowledge had come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ. (10/94) So if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to you, ask those who read the Book before you. Certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore never be of the doubters. (10/95) And be not one of those who belie the Verses of Allah. Then (otherwise) you shall be one of the losers. (10/96) Surely they deserved the Word of your Lord upon them. They do not believe. (10/97) Even though every Verse should come to them, until they see the painful torment (they will not be believers). (10/98) Therefore there should have been a country that believed (was Amenu) so that their belief should have profited them, should not it? When the people of Jonah believed (became Amenu), We removed from them the torment of disgrace in this world’s life and We gave them provision till a certain time. (10/99) And if your Lord had willed, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed altogether. Will you then force men till they become believers? (10/100) And it is not (possible) for a person (soul) to become a Mumin (believer) except by Allah’s Permission. And (Allah) casts punishment (the filth, torment) on those who are not mindful. (10/101) Say: “Observe what is in the heavens and earth”! But of no avail will be Verses or warnings to a people who are not Amenu (believe). (10/102) So do they wait for (anything) but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: “Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait”. (10/103) Then We save Our Messengers and those who are âmenû (who believe). It is binding on Us to save the believers. (10/104) Say: “O mankind! If you are in doubt as to my religion, then I do not worship those whom you worship besides Allah. But I do serve Allah, Who will cause you to die. And I am commanded that I should be of the believers”. (10/105) And direct your face towards the Religion as a Hanîf and never be of the associators. (10/106) Do not pray upon things besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you. But if you do then, surely you will be in that case of the wrong-doers (Zâlimûn). (10/107) And if Allah touches you with harm (adversity), then there is none who can remove it but He. And if He intends any good for you, there is none who can repel His Virtue. (He) causes it to reach whomever of His servants He wills. And He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. (10/108) Say: “O mankind! Indeed the truth has come to you from your Lord”! Whoever then has attained Hidayet, he has surely attained Hidayet for his own soul and whoever has been (remained) in Misguidance, he has been in Misguidance only against (to the detriment of) it (the responsibility for it is upon him) and I am not a surrogate over you. (10/109) And follow what is revealed to you! And be patient until Allah should give judgment, and He is the Best of the judges.

Hud
(11/1) Alif-Lâm-Râ. (This is) a Book, whose Verses are made decisive (strengthened) and then explained in detail, from One Who is All-Wise, All-Aware (with all things). (11/2) (This book) is for you not to be a servant to anything but Allah. Surely I am a Warner for you from Him and a bringer of glad tidings. (11/3) (It is) for you to seek forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him in repentance; for Him to provide you with a goodly provision to an appointed term and bestow His (light of) Virtue on every one endowed with Virtue. And if you turn away, then surely I fear for you the torment of a Great Day. (11/4) To Allah is your return, and He has Power over all things. (11/5) Now surely they fold up their chests that they may hide from Him, do they not? Do not they use their garments as a covering? (Allah) knows what they conceal and what they make public. Surely He knows what is in the bosoms.
