فَمَا آمَنَ لِمُوسَى إِلاَّ ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِ عَلَى خَوْفٍ مِّن فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِمْ أَن يَفْتِنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ ﴿٨٣﴾
سورة يونس
(10/83) But none believed in Moses, except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his elites, lest he should cause them mischief (trouble). And most surely Pharaoh was lofty (an arrogant tyrant) on the earth; and most surely he was of the extravagant (rebellious who extravagantly transgressed the bounds).
