وَلاَ تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَنفَعُكَ وَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

سورة يونس
(10/106) Do not pray upon things besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you. But if you do then, surely you will be in that case of the wrong-doers (Zâlimûn).
