وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ

(36/67) And had We willed, We would surely have changed them in their places, then they would have been unable to go forward and backward.
