أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنْ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لاَ يَرْجِعُونَ

(36/31) Have they not seen how many of the generations We destroyed before them that they (those who had been destroyed) did not return to them?
