وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ

سورة سبإ
(34/21) And he (Lucifer) had no authority (influence) over them that We may know him who believes in the Hereafter (in making his spirit reach Allah while he is living) from him who is in doubt concerning it (We tested them with Lucifer). And your Lord is the Preserver of all things.
