هَاأَنتُمْ هَؤُلَاء تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاء وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ

سورة محمّـد
(47/38) This is how you are. You get called upon to spend in the Way of Allah, yet some among you turn stingy, and whoever behaves stingily is only stingy against his own soul. And Allah is All-Rich and you who are poor. And if you turn away (from the Truth) He shall replace you with another people, then they will not be (stingy) like you.
