وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ

سورة محمّـد
(47/13) And many a city, mightier In strength than the city which drave thee forth, We destroyed them, and there was no helper of theirs.
