وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّى مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

سورة لقمان
(31/7) And when Our Verses are recited to him, he turns back in pride as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were heaviness (hearing obstacle). Therefore give him tidings (warning) of a painful torment.
