اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا

سورة فاطر
(35/43) They behaved arrogantly in the land and plotted evil. Yet the evil plot besets (reaches) none but only him who makes it. Then, are they waiting for anything except the Sunnah (Way of Dealing, Practice, Rule, Law) of the former people? Yet you cannot find any alteration in the Sunnah of Allah and you cannot find any change in the Sunnah of Allah.
