فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ

(43/54) So (Pharaoh) took his people lightly (He looked down on his people). Upon that (his people) obeyed him. Surely they became a transgressing people.
