حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءنَا قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِينُ

(43/38) When he (one of them) came to Us (on the Doomsday), he said: “Wish that between me and you there were the distance of the two easts”. This is a terrible closeness!
