فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ اللّهُ إِلَى طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُواْ مَعِيَ أَبَدًا وَلَن تُقَاتِلُواْ مَعِيَ عَدُوًّا إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِالْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَاقْعُدُواْ مَعَ الْخَالِفِينَ

(9/83) Therefore if Allah brings you back to a party of them (disbelievers), and then ask your permission to go forth, say: “By no means shall you ever go forth with me and by no means shall you fight an enemy with me; surely you were pleased to sit still the first time, therefore sit still with those who remained behind”.
