مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُواْ مَسَاجِدَ الله شَاهِدِينَ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ بِالْكُفْرِ أُوْلَئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ

(9/17) It is not for the associators to build the mosques of Allah while bearing witness to disbelief against themselves (their own souls). As for such, their deeds are in vain. And in the Fire they shall abide forever.
