وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا إِلَى رِجْسِهِمْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ

(9/125) And as for those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubt, disbelief and hypocrisy) it adds uncleanness (disbelief, doubt and hypocrisy) to their uncleanness and they die while they are disbelievers.
