لَقَد تَّابَ الله عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

سورة التوبة
(9/117) Certainly Allah has granted repentance to the Prophet and the Emigrants. In the hour of distress after their hearts were about to deviate (from the Faith) He granted repentance to the Helpers who depended on him and a group from them. Then He accepted their repentance. Surely to them He is full of Kindness, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy).
