فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ ﴿١٠٢﴾
سورة الصّافّات
(37/102) And when he attained to the age of working with him, he said: “O my beloved son! Surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you. So look (think). What is your opinion about this matter”? (Ishmael) said: “O my beloved father! Do what you are commanded. If Allah wills, you will find me of the patient ones”.
