فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاء إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ

(30/52) So, surely, you cannot make the dead to hear, you cannot make the deaf to hear the invitation when they turn back and flee.
