وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاء حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئًا وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

سورة النّور
(24/39) And those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one deemed it to be water; when he came up to it, he found it to be nothing; and there he found Allah (against him). So (Allah) paid him his reckoning in full. And Allah is Swift at reckoning.
