وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿١٤﴾
سورة النّور
(24/14) And had it not been for the Virtue of Allah unto you and His Mercy in this world and in the Hereafter, a great torment would have touched you because of that which you entered into (the slander, backbiting).
