لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًا وَقَالُوا هَذَا إِفْكٌ مُّبِينٌ

(24/12) If only the believing men and the believing women, when they heard of it (of the slander), had thought good in their own minds, and said: “This is a manifest slander”.
