إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإْسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَى وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا

(4/163) Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Noah (Nûh) and the Prophets after him; and We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac (Ishâq), Jacob (Ya’kûb) and his offspring, Jesus, Job (Ayyûb), Jonah (Yûnus), Aaron (Hârûn) and Solomon (Sulaimân). And to David (Dâwûd) We gave the Zabûr (Psalms).
