إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالْدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخَنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

سورة النحل
(16/115) He has only forbidden you what is dead, blood, flesh of swine and animal which is slaughtered in the name of others than Allah. But if one is forced by necessity (to eat), without willful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy).
