إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

(3/96) Most surely the first Beyt (House) appointed for the men was that at Bekka (Makka), full of blessing and a Guidance (Hidayet) for the worlds.
