فَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ فَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئْرٍ مُّعَطَّلَةٍ وَقَصْرٍ مَّشِيدٍ

سورة الحج
(22/45) So just like the (people of the) countries who were wrongdoers did We destroy that as well. So it is fallen into ruin and its wells and a lofty palace is abandoned!
