لِئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِّن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاء وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

سورة الحـديد
(57/29) It is because the People of the Book did not know that they had no power over the Virtue of Allah, and that His Grace is entirely in His Power, and He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Mighty Virtue.
