وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا*

سورة الفرقان
(25/60) And when it was said to them: “Prostrate yourselves to the Most Beneficent”, they said: “What is the Most Beneficent? Shall we prostrate ourselves to what you command us”? And it (this command) increased them in aversion.
