يُؤتِي الْحِكْمَةَ مَن يَشَاء وَمَن يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلاَّ أُوْلُواْ الأَلْبَابِ

(2/269) He grants Wisdom to whom He pleases, and he to whom Wisdom (Hikmah) is granted is indeed given a great good and none comprehends except “Ûlu’l elbâb” [the owners of the innermost secret treasures of Allah because of their continuous dhikr).
