لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ فَإِنْ فَآؤُوا فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

(2/226) Those who swear that they will not go in to their wives should wait four months; so if they go back (to their wives by giving expiation before the term comes to an end), then Allah is surely Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.
