كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأقْرَبِينَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ حَقًّا عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ

(2/180) Bequest is prescribed for you when death approaches one of you and leaving behind wealth for parents and near relatives, according to Ma’rûf (custom) is a duty (to be fulfilled, a right) upon those who are pious (the owners of piety, “takwâ”).
