وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ

سورة البقرة
(2/167) And those who followed (depended on) others besides Allah said: “If only there had been for us a return (to the worldly life), we would disown them as they have disowned us”. Thus Allah will show them that their deeds are lost. And they will never get out of the Fire either.
