وَالَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ السَّيِّئَاتِ ثُمَّ تَابُواْ مِن بَعْدِهَا وَآمَنُواْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِن بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

سورة الأعراف
(7/153) And those who do evil deeds (that make one lose degrees), then repent (before the religious guide-Murshid) and believe (become âmenû, wish to reach Allah before death), your Lord after that (after their having become âmenû) is indeed Oft-Forgiving (the One who changes evil deeds into merits), Most Merciful (the One who sends the light of Mercy).
