وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ

سورة الأعراف
(7/134) And when the torment fell upon them, they said: O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by a covenant (of prophet-hood) He bestowed upon you. If you remove the torment from us, we will certainly believe in you and we will certainly send away with you the Children of Israel.
