وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَجَاءهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

سورة العنكبوت
(29/53) And they ask you to hasten on the torment. If a term had not been appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them (right away) and most surely it will come to them all of a sudden while they do not perceive.
